Poké Portal News (Japanese: ポケポータルニュース Poké Portal News) is a feature in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that expands on the available Tera Raid Battles in the Paldea region, making certain Pokémon more common for a limited time. It can be accessed via Mystery Gift or updated automatically by connecting to the internet in game. Certain species of Terastal Pokémon, which are usually very rare, are often made more common through Poké Portal News events. These event Tera Raids will appear on the map and mini-map with a unique icon.

List of Tera Raid Battles

The following lists, in reverse chronological order, different Tera Raid Battle events. The event periods for the given dates typically last between 4:00pm PST on the initial date, to 3:59pm PST on the end date.

2022

December 2 to 4 & 16 to 18, 2022

Charizard with the Mightiest Mark, with the title Charizard the Unrivaled (Japanese: 最強のリザードン The Strongest Lizardon), will be appearing at black Tera Raid crystals during two time periods: from December 2 to 4, 2022, then again from December 16 to 18, 2022. Charizard cannot normally be encountered in Paldea, and the Charizard appearing during this event has Dragon as its Tera Type. This Charizard can only be caught once per save file, although the Tera Raid Battle can be attended repeatedly. This Charizard will have the same mark, Ability, and moves regardless of when it is caught during the event. [1][2]. The event additionally contained special 4 and 5 star raids for Florges and Mimikyu.

November 24 to 27, 2022

The first Tera Raid Battle event will be the Eevee Spotlight (Japanese: イーブイピックアップ Eievui Pickup). Eevee with various Tera Types will be appearing more frequently in Tera Raid Battles from November 24 to 27, 2022.[3][4]
