Magby (Japanese: ブビィ Buby) is a Template:Type2 baby Pokémon.

It evolves into Magmar starting at level 30, which evolves into Magmortar when traded holding a Magmarizer.

Biology

Physiology

Magby is a small, red duck/salamander like creature with a human stance. It only has a short stub of a tail that doesn't have a flame on it. Magby has a flame-shaped spot on its stomach, a single spike on its back and stubby arms. Magby's head is covered with large lumps that resemble hair.

Gender differences

None.

Special abilities

Magby can mostly learn anything that Magmar can know, but Magby isn't as strong.

Behavior

A Magby's health is determined by the flames that it spews from its mouth. Yellow flames show that a Magby is in good health while a Magby that is spewing flames that are mixed with a lot of smoke show that it is fatigued.

Habitat

Magby normally live in volcanic craters. However, there have been rare occasions of Magby being seen living in towns.
