The Amorphous Egg Group (Japanese: 不定形グループ Indeterminate Group), known prior to Pokémon Diamond and Pearl as the Indeterminate Egg Group, is one of the fifteen Egg Groups. As of Generation IX, 63 Pokémon belong to this group.
Characteristics
Most Pokémon in this Egg Group are shapeless and the name reflects this. Its many members are based on a variety of things such as gases, blobs, inanimate objects and soft-bodied organisms. Most are capable of floating off the ground. Many of its members are Ghost-type Pokémon.
Prior to Generation VIII, the Ralts family was exclusive to the Amorphous egg group. It is now also in the Human-Like group.
