Pokémon world locations |
Clamberclaw Cliffs (Japanese: 崖登り崖 Cliff-Climbing Cliff) is an area located in the eastern region of the Coronet Highlands of Hisui. It is located north of the Lonely Spring and south of the Celestica Ruins.
The player earns the trust of Ride Sneasler here during Mission 11: "Scaling Perilous Heights", only after defeating her caretaker, warden Ingo of the Pearl Clan.
At the base of the cliffs, the player can find the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai here as part of Request 93: "The Darksome Nightmare", if they have save data from Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Geography
At the base of Clamberclaw Cliffs, where the player battles Ingo, the northern part of Sonorous Path leads into a large hollow. Huge boulders are scattered around the area, providing cover from aggressive Pokémon that lurk. To the northeast, past the rock wall of the hollow, an isolated area that cannot be reached safely on foot overlooks the northeastern sea of Hisui. The steep steps of the cliffs are climbable with the help of Sneasler. At the top, another set of steps stack up toward the base of the Celestica Ruins, and they cover a wider surface area. A small lake sits at the top.

Non-fixed alpha Pokémon do not spawn until the player quelled the frenzy of the subregion's noble. Some of the Pokémon marked with (‡) may only spawn near the area's borders. |
Special encounters
If the Nintendo Switch being used has save data from Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl, Request 93 "The Darksome Nightmare", in which Darkrai can be caught near Clamberclaw Cliffs at night, will be available after completion of Mission 18: "The Counterpart". If fled from or knocked out, it respawns immediately without leaving the area. It is coded to never be Shiny.
