Jump (AG126)
The subject of this article has no official English name. The name currently in use is a fan translation of the Japanese name. |
(Japanese: ジャンプ Jump) is a character of the day who appeared in Saved by the Beldum. He is a Pokémon Trainer who competed in the preliminary rounds of the Ever Grande Conference. He was not given an official name in the English dub.
During the Hoenn League championship competition, Jump faced off against Morrison. He had an advantage since Morrison's Beldum only knew Take Down and he was constantly commanding his Electabuzz to use Protect to negate all damage.
Just when it looked like Jump was going to be the victor, Morrison's Beldum evolved into a Metang and defeated Electabuzz using a combination of Confusion and Take Down. Jump's loss meant that he was out of the tournament.
