The Storming Emergence GX Starter Deck (Chinese: GX起始卡组 横空出世 GX Starter Deck: Storming Emergence) is a randomized deck for the Pokémon Trading Card Game released alongside the inaugural Sun & Moon Series set in Simplified Chinese.
Information
The deck was released in Mainland China on October 28, 2022 and includes many cards that cannot be found in the accompanying Storming Emergence set. Each deck includes 60 cards made up of two 30-card groups, each of which comprise a selection of Pokémon cards that typically focus on one type, an assortment of Trainer cards, and multiples of supporting basic Energy cards. The two card groups each have 20 possible varieties and any combination of them can make up the deck.
Each deck is also packaged with a cardboard sheet containing damage counters, Special Condition markers, and a GX marker; a rulesheet; and a bonus booster pack containing one of 37 possible cards. Twenty-five of these are Trainer cards that can also be found in the deck, while 12 Secret cards can only be found in the bonus pack. All cards have a product-specific collection number and set symbol, but do not feature rarity symbols. Secret cards from the bonus pack are Holofoil, while all other cards are Non Holofoil.
