Mew

"If a Mew uses Sketch, it will fail.". OK, first, there's no proof that I can see. Second, there's no reason for Sketch to fail if used by a Mew. And third, the whole thing is moot because Mew can't even learn Sketch. So, uh, where's this coming from? Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 02:10, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Mew can use Sketch by transforming into Smeargle. I tested this on my DS just now to see if the "Sketch-Ditto" trick from Generation Two still worked. It didn't work. When my Mew used Sketch, it failed, even when Mew moved last. It doesn't matter that Mew can't LEARN it, Mew, as well as Ditto, can USE it. CubeShapedWatermelon 02:30, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Ohhhhh. No. See, it failed because it was obtained through Transform. It's common knoweledge that if a Pokemon that transformed into Smeargle tries to use Sketch it will fail. Now, if the Mew were AR'd into learning Sketch, THEN it might work. Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 02:47, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Okay, so where is this information on Bulbapedia? The "Transform" article? CubeShapedWatermelon 02:53, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Please don't erase talk page comments for no reason. Trust me, you do NOT want to end up like Big Johnno, who got into an edit war with a sysop over comments the former had erased and was trying to keep erased. That user ended up blocked and subsequently had every erased comment restored. --☆Coolピカチュウ! 20:40, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

I don't want that stupid welcome message on this page forever. They never say anything helpful in the first place so there isn't a point in keeping it there. CubeShapedWatermelon 20:43, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Then you can archive the talk page.--☆Coolピカチュウ! 20:44, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
And waste space on an essentially copy+paste message? Why? CubeShapedWatermelon 20:45, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Because you keep complaining about it, point is you cannot remove it unless archiving it.--☆Coolピカチュウ! 20:47, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
I was archiving it. Look at the "history page" you can see previous versions there. CubeShapedWatermelon 20:49, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
You mean your "GET OFF MY PAGE" comment? That is not helpful...--☆Coolピカチュウ! 20:50, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
What are you talking about? CubeShapedWatermelon 20:51, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
You said "Look at the "history page" you can see previous versions there." so I figured that was what you mean't. --☆Coolピカチュウ! 20:56, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Who even wants an archive page? Why would you want to look at a useless archive page that only has a "welcome" message? It's like pruning a tree. What is the point of keeping the discarded branches forever? CubeShapedWatermelon 21:00, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Archiving does not mean the same as deleting. And that comment was your edit summary when you first removed the welcome message. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 20:57, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Kay, CubeShapedWatermelon, we archive talk pages because it's policy. You agreed to follow and understand the policies when you signed up. Also, the steps on how to archive your talk page are very simple:
  1. Move your talk page to an archive talk. User talk:CubeShapedWatermelon/Archive1 would be a good title. Do not remove the comments to paste them into such a page, always move the page.
  2. Replace the redirect on your main talk with a link to your archive(s).
Pretty simple, no? Also, try not to archive very tiny talk pages, just cause there's something on it you don't like having there. Please, wait for the talk page to get big to archive. Now, stop the arguing people! - Kogoro | Talk to me - 21:02, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Moving pages

Please do not move pages slated for removal from bulbapedia. It adds one more page to be deleted, as the redirect is not deleted when moved. Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 16:55, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
