A Harlequin (Japanese: クラウン Clown) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation V games.
They are similar to the Clown class. In the third Gym in Castellia city, of which the Gym Leader is Burgh, you can find many Harlequins battling with Bug-type Pokemon. Harlequin are also found balancing on skinny bridges above tall grass. Another is found in an art gallery in Castelia City who is inspired by Burgh's artwork. He asks you to show him a certain type of Pokemon. If you have that type of Pokemon in your party and you show it to him, he will offer you a berry of your choice (Cheri Berry, Chesto Berry, Peacha Berry, Rawst Berry, Aspear Berry).
