A Harlequin (Japanese: クラウン Clown) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation V games.
They are very similar to the Clown Trainer class. Several Harlequins can be found in the Castelia Gym. They are also found balancing on narrow bridges above tall grass.
Upon being spoken to, a Harlequin in Castelia City's art gallery will ask the player to show him a certain type of Pokemon. If that type of Pokémon is shown to to him, he will offer the player a berry of their choice: (Cheri Berry, Chesto Berry, Pecha Berry, Rawst Berry, Aspear Berry).
