Chaz (Japanese: エイジ Eiji) is a character of the day who appeared in All Things Bright and Beautifly!.
Chaz is a Pokémon Coordinator who entered the Rustboro City Contest alongside his friend and rival, Janet. In the end, he and Janet made it to the final round. He used his Venomoth against her Beautifly but he ended up losing to her.
Chaz also helped Ash teach his Pikachu the move Iron Tail with the help of his Sentret. He suggested Pikachu learn it in order to defeat the Gym Leader's Template:Type2 Pokémon.
Chaz also had a cameo in Deceit and Assist, watching May at the Hoenn Grand Festival.
