A Cowgirl (Japanese: カウガール Cowgirl) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation IV games. They are depicted as young women in cowgirl outfits. Most are found near Solaceon Town.
They use a variety of Pokémon, like Bidoof.
Cowgirls are the female counterparts of Ranchers. They also form half of the Double Battle team Belle & Pa; a Rancher forms the other half of the team.
