Searing Sunraze Smash (Japanese: サンシャインスマッシャー Sunshine Smasher) is a damage-dealing Steel-type Z-Move introduced in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. It is the exclusive Z-Move of Solgaleo and Dusk Mane Necrozma and an upgraded version of their signature move, Sunsteel Strike.

Searing Sunraze Smash inflicts damage, ignoring all ignorable Abilities that could affect the success or damage of a move during its execution.

Searing Sunraze Smash cannot be selected in a battle.

Description

Games Description USUM After obtaining Z-Power, the user, Solgaleo, attacks the target with full force. This move can ignore the effect of the target's Ability. SwShBDSPLA This move can't be used. It's recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can't be remembered.

Learnset

Solgaleo or Dusk Mane Necrozma can use Searing Sunraze Smash if it knows Sunsteel Strike, holds a Solganium Z, and if its Trainer wears a Z-Power Ring.

Solgaleo then changes into its Radiant Sun phase and opens an Ultra Wormhole, carrying its riders through it; or, Solgaleo cloaks itself with orange-yellow energy, spins itself around, and slams into the opponent with full force.
