The Marine Athletic Race (Japanese: マリンアスレチックレース Marine Athletic Race) is an anime-exclusive competition that takes place in Lilycove City. The competition was featured in On Land, In the Sea, and to the Future!. There are two divisions: one for adults and one for kids. Kiley won in the adult division, whereas Ash won the kids division.
Competition
A variety of Pokémon compete on the course alongside their Trainers. Various obstacles include jumping high enough to ring a bell, bouncing off a trampoline and going along a slide and swimming whilst pushing a ball.
