Route 14 (Japanese: 14番道路 Route 14) is a route on Alola's Ula'ula Island connecting Tapu Village and Thrifty Megamart (Abandoned Site).
Route description
Route 14's main feature is a beach consisting of black sand. Tapu Bulu considers the area sacred, and was thus angered when the Thrifty Megamart was built here years ago, destroying not only the Megamart, but also the nearby Tapu Village. As a result of this rampage, the route is littered with various destroyed structures, including an asphalt road, a lighthouse, and the aforementioned shopping mall, which now serves as Acerola's trial site.
In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, a couple of events can be triggered in this area. At the lighthouse ruins, the player can save a Swimmer from being attacked by a Frillish. After the player has cleared Nanu's grand trial, a Reporter will appear outside the Thrifty Megamart, requesting an interview with Tapu Bulu if the player has it in their party.
