Pokémon world locations |
The Dragon's Den (Japanese: りゅうのあな Dragon's Hole) is a location in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal.
It is inaccessible before defeating Clair in the Blackthorn Gym, as it is blocked off by a man in front of the cave, and then it must be traversed to finally obtain the Rising Badge.
Many strong Trainers can be found within the cavern. The Master of the Dragon User Clan is located here, and he will quiz the player on their attitude towards and treatment of their Pokémon. If you give compassionate answers, in Crystal, HeartGold and SoulSilver, the player will be rewarded with a Dratini that knows ExtremeSpeed. Silver can be found here, contemplating his training some days of the week, and Clair will visit to reward the player with the Rising Badge she refused to award in the Gym, as well as TM24 (TM59 in Generation IV).
In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, Lance and Clair may occasionally appear, and they will challenge the player and Silver to a tag battle.
