Victini (Japanese: ビクティニ Victini) is a dual-type Psychic/Fire Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation V.
It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
Biology
Physiology
Victini is a small, rodent-like Pokémon. Its large, pointed ears are shaped like the letter V, possibly for its name or the generation it was introduced in. Its round head is comparatively large for its small body, and cream-colored, while the tops of its ears, crest, and extremities are all orange. Its bulbous arms and legs are rounded to make a sort of "cuff" before ending with small, three-fingered hands and two-toed feet. Victini's two winglike tails grant it the ability to fly.
Gender differences
Victini are a genderless species.
Special abilities
Victini are said to bring victory to the Trainer that owns it. It produces infinite energy within itself and shares it with others by touching them.
Victini is the only Pokémon that can learn the moves Searing Shot and V-create.

Trivia
- Victini was first shown in a preview for the 14th Pokémon movie at the end of Zoroark: Master of Illusions.
- Victini's Unova Pokédex number is 000, making it the first Pokémon to legitimately have the number 000 in any Pokédex listing.
- Not including Forme changes, Victini is the only Pokémon to have the type combination of Psychic/Fire.
- Victini is the only Pokémon to be listed before the starter Pokémon of its native region.
- Consequently, Victini is the only legendary Pokémon of a later generation to appear next to legendary Pokémon of an earlier generation in the National Pokédex.
- It is also the first Pokémon that comes first in any region's Pokédex that is not Template:Type2.
- Although Victini has a Shiny sprite, Pokémon Black and White are programmed so that a Shiny Victini cannot be encountered.
- Victini is the only legendary Psychic-type Pokémon that cannot learn Calm Mind.
- According to an IGN interview, Victini is Junichi Masuda's favorite Pokémon.[1]
- Although its tails allow it to fly, it cannot learn the move.
- Victini learns a new move every eight levels.
Origin
Victini's appearance, both its normal and shiny form alike, seems to be based on うさぎリンゴ usagi-ringo, a method of cutting apple slices to make them look similar to rabbits. Conceptually, it might draw inspiration from Nike, the Greek, winged goddess of victory, or Victoria, the Roman equivalent of Nike. Its tail wings may be a reference to Nike's wings. It also resembles the Fennec Fox.
Name origin
Victini possibly comes from victory, destiny, and teeny. It may also derive from "vixen", meaning female fox, due to its resemblance to the Fennec Fox.
