Round (Japanese: りんしょう Round) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation V. It is TM48 as of Generation V.

Effect

Round inflicts damage, which will double in power to 120 if used consecutively by an ally. If used by an ally, it will definitely be directly after the first user, regardless of speed.

The user attacks the target with a song. Others can join in the Round and make the attack do greater damage.

Swoobat Swoobat opens its mouth and releases a high-pitched note from its mouth, causing red, green or blue circles to come out of its mouth. The opponent then holds its ears in pain. As the circles fly towards the opponent, they grow bigger. The attack is much more powerful when used in a group.

  • The name of this move refers to vocal rounds, a type of canon in which two voices sing harmoniously.
