In the Pokémon Adventures manga
A Belle and Pa first appear in Knowledge of the Unown (I) where they were working at the Pokémon News Press, with Pa being the editor-in-chief. Pa took a picture of Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum while trying to photograph Unown that were hovering over their heads to make a scoop of the discovery of a "previously undiscovered" species. They make a cameo in VS Dialga and Palkia V, battling a Steelix.
