Route 16 (Japanese: 16番道路 Route 16) is a route in central Kalos, connecting Route 15 and Lumiose City. The route is also known as Mélancolie Path (Japanese: トリスト通り Triste Path).

- The in-game maps show Route 16 going directly between Lumiose City and Dendemille Town, even though the route ends at Route 15, just outside Dendemille Town.
Name origin
Mélancolie is French for melancholy, while triste is French for sad.
