Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon – Ultra Legends is the twenty-second season of the dubbed version of the Pokémon anime. It is the third and final season of Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon. The season follows Ash and his classmates as he continues his journey, attending the Pokémon School in the Alola region.
In the United States, it premiered on Disney XD on March 23, 2019 with the dub premiere of Lillier and the Staff!, and concluded on March 7, 2020 with Thank You, Alola! The Journey Continues!. It originally aired in the United States as part of the 2019-2020 Disney XD Saturday morning lineup. In Canada, it debuted on March 2, 2019 on Teletoon.
It is preceded by Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Adventures and succeeded by Pokémon Journeys: The Series, the first season of the dub of Pokémon Journeys: The Series, which is based on the Generation VIII games.
Blurb
Ash has completed three of his four grand trials in the Alola region, and more adventures await as he and his classmates acquire new Z-Crystals, make new Pokémon friends, and learn how to Mantine Surf! In their role as Ultra Guardians, the Pokémon School students take on an important mission to protect Wela Volcano. Ash meets a new rival, Hau, whose Dartrix offers Rowlet quite a challenge. Even Rotom Dex gets an adventure of its own when our heroes visit the set of its favorite TV show! And Professor Kukui's dream of starting a Pokémon League in Alola just might be getting closer to reality...

- Ash and his classmates meet Hapu for the first time, learning that Hapu is the granddaughter of the Island's second-most recent Kahuna, Sofu. (SM104)
- Ash meets Plumeria, the Admin of Team Skull, for the first time. (SM104)

- Lana receives a Primarium Z from Ida. (SM106)

- Professor Kukui reveals that the winner of the Alola League will face the Masked Royal in an exhibition battle. (SM127)
