Thunder Wave (Japanese: でんじは Electromagnetic Wave) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I. It is TM45 in Generation I and TM73 in Generation IV.
Effect
Thunder Wave paralyzes the target. Thunder Wave can't affect a target that already has a major status ailment, and will not work against Template:Type2s or Pokémon that have Volt Absorb or Motor Drive.
In Stadium, Thunder Wave can't affect a target that has a Substitute.
