im leaving them for now. also, were going to keep a list of Pokemon attainable via cheat, they just wont get articles. -- MAGNEDETH 03:05, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, OK. I thought you missed them. I'll take the tags off. --SnorlaxMonster 03:06, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Why are you deleting them?
????? y r u deleting thoughs glitch Pokémon. --shinyditto 9:00 1 November 2009 (PST)
- oh well that stinks cuz i just got all the ones glitch Pokémon( that dont freeze)that were on there and i was talkin to snorlax. --shinyditto 9:18, Nov 1st (UTC)
- OK. Well it wasn't my decision to delete them, but I do agree with it. The general consensus was that articles on cheat-exclusive Pokémon are non-notable. Most of them were stubs, requiring cleanup, incomplete or a combination of. There are other websites out there devoted to Pokémon Glitches (such as Glitch City) if you want the information, and one of our users plans to combine all of the cheat-exclusive articles into one (unfortunately I can't give you a link now, but if you look around you might find it), but it is still a work in progress. Also, please start a new topic next time. --SnorlaxMonster 06:09, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
- just one more question dose missingno. master know about this? --shinyditto 10:01, 2 Nov 2009 (UTC)
- Yes. See Talk:List of glitch types. He said "I agree with the Gameshark-only Generation I Glitch Pokémon not being notable. That was actually my stance from the start, really." Also, you're better off asking him. And please, don't incessantly edit my talk page, I get an email every time you do. --SnorlaxMonster 06:13, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I don't mean to challange your authority on this, I'm not really into Glitches. --Smartkidhen (So I saw this sign that said Red Velvet • Team Galactic has plans) 01:31, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
- That's OK, you changed it back anyway, so I don't care. You just should have brought it up on the talk page first, but I really don't care. --SnorlaxMonster 01:36, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Userspace template
Unless I'm misinterpreting your edit summary, you are mistaken. You can transclude any userspace page like a template by typing {{User:Pagename/Subpagename|param|param|param...}}, just as you would for a template. Test out that glitch thing on the subpage's talkpage, okay? —darklordtrom 08:06, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Well either I broke the template, or it dosn't work like that. See the talk page. --SnorlaxMonster 11:22, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Fixed. —darklordtrom 11:31, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Mainspace talk archives

About stuff
You shouldn't need all those extra color redirects. The template should be set up so that it uses the regular glitch color template and doesn't make a whole lot of stupid redlinks. I did one of these fixes last night, feel free to learn from the edit.
Secondly: Bulbapedia:Namespace#Category_namespace. Useful page. —darklordtrom 10:27, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I see what you did on Five question marks, but for some reason it still uses B color (seen in used templates) and other glitch colors (Glitch and 'l) m) ZM) despite what you did. So it does remove the need for Glitch color light etc., but the rest of the redirects still appear to be needed. As for number 2, thanks for that link. --SnorlaxMonster 10:40, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- All fixed. That template should no longer be a problem, unless anyone wants anything added to it... —darklordtrom 10:53, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- OK, I think I can find all the color redirects like that if you want. One thing is that B links to List of glitch types#B when no link is selected, but 'l) m) ZM links to Glitch#Glitch types. Can you fix it so they all do the first one?--SnorlaxMonster 10:57, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- OK, one major problem is that the evolution template doesn't have the same disptype variable built into it. If that were to be included, I could clear out lots more unused type color redirects. Another problem is learnset boxes, but I don't know how that would work. --SnorlaxMonster 11:14, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- I'll sort that later. If I leave it too long, then I've forgotten and you should remind me. It's not too hard. —darklordtrom 11:17, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Breaking the fourth wall
Hi, when you removed the section on game freak employees in Celadon mansion from the Breaking the fourth wall article, you cited that "Gamefreak has other games". What exactly do you mean by this? In what way are these characters not an example of breaking the fourth wall? (I'm sure you have valid reasons I just would like to understand them myself.) Thank you for your time.--Beligaronia (talk) 19:16, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's hard to fit a lot into an edit summary. It's because despite the fact that game freak exists in the Pokémon games, doesn't meant that they are saying "We designed this universe" or anything directly meaning that they are in a game. It is only breaking the fourth wall if something acknowledges the fact that the world they are in is not reality. Gamefreak could produce games other than Pokémon in the Pokémon world.--SnorlaxMonster 07:14, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
- In FRLG one of the NPCs in celadon mansion says "I drew you" indicating that they are indeed the game developers who created this game universe. Their quotes are:
- "I'm the graphic artist! I drew you!"
- "I wrote the story! Isn't Erika cute! I like Misty a lot, too! Oh, and Sabrina, I like her!"
- "Me? I'm the Programmer!" - doesn't really mean much
- "I'm the game designer!" -says more but the rest doesn't mean much

Relinks
The redirects will always exist, so there's no huge need to relink redirects on talk pages. Just fix up the important ones. Thanks for your efforts. —darklordtrom 23:06, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
interwiki links
What's with the interwiki links? Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 13:36, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm just redirecting all the SSB characters, because people could be looking for those, but we aren't supposed to have pages on them, so I made a whole bunch of redirects. If this isn't OK, let me know and I'll stop. --SnorlaxMonster 13:38, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

This concerns your recent edit on Mew_glitch.
Thankyou for editing that. I also did not know the words to put it into, but I knew that had to be changed.

About Poochyena and Larvitar
Yes they can. My slowbro knows water pulse and avalanche. and was the father of my larvitar. My sceptile was the father of my seviper and seviper learned dragon claw as an egg move because sceptile learned it from a tm. it was then passed on to poochyena when i tried to get one that knew poison fang. if you dont believe me then try it. Blahness15 18:04, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'll test it, but how would Seviper learn Dragon Claw? It has no claws. Also, other reliable Pokémon fansites disagree with you about Seviper, Poochyena and Larvitar. --SnorlaxMonster 08:04, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
I'm playing SoulSilver, what about you? And Seviper may be using its tail for the attack. You are very quickly getting dangerously close to being on my 'people who I don't like' list, Captain know-it-all. I'll get the pics ready.Blahness15 23:37, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- I used Diamond. None of those moves could be learned. As for Seviper, its tail is not a claw. I was hoping it was DPPt, because now I have to try again as HGSS do have different egg moves (but only a few). And while I still do want to see screenshots, they don't prove anything. --SnorlaxMonster 07:01, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Redirects
Please do not create redirects unless the page it redirects to exists. If it doesn't, that redirect will be counted as a Broken Redirect. Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 12:03, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
Yikes
Could I ask for some more template help? The MS code you gave me worked like a charm... but I'm now told that the use of #ifexist is causing phantom entries to appear in Wanted Pages (a known bug, from what I can gather). I'm guessing there's a way around this, but it's way beyond my questionable skills? Can you give me a hand? Bikini Miltank 15:27, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- So we can't use #ifexist? That's annoying, it's so useful. I don't actually see the phantom pages that are on wanted pages that are supposed to be caused by this glitch. I wonder if there is a MediaWiki patch to fix it, or if Bulbapedia's functions caused this. Now, to fix it, I guess switches will be necessary; I'll try to fix it. If you do need some help, I generally use mw:Help:Extension:ParserFunctions or mw:Help:Magic words for some code (that's how I found out about #ifexist). --SnorlaxMonster 13:39, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
Moving userpages
As mentioned on Sol's talk page, please don't do it. If it's going to be moved into the mainspace, there is no point of moving it beforehand in the userspace. Please remember the userspace policy next time. Thanks. —♥ Jellotalk 10:54, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Multiple Edits
The reason I do that is because my browser is known to crash at random times, and I didn't want to lose all that information. But I'll try use preview a little more often just for you. Koolboyman 16:55, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Deleting pages
Handy tip - if you have lots of pages to be deleted, simply list them on an administrator's talk page. Even when the page is deleted, every edit is still logged, and given that adding the template categorises the page, it can sometimes be strenuous on the server for so many edits to be made in succession. It'll probably also be faster this way. —darklordtrom 11:00, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- Well, while you're here, just about every Trainer class article will now need a talk redirect deletion. Now that I think about it, same goes for the the Routes. Is there some kind of MediaWiki patch which allows the moving of pages without creating talk redirects? Because I don't think that we ever want them. --SnorlaxMonster 11:57, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- Not that I know of. You can suppress the redirect of the whole thing, or none at all. I'm going to head off now so I won't go through and search for pages to be deleted. If you can list them for me (or whoever finds them first) that'd be swell. —darklordtrom 12:02, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
Officially?
Just because other article states something, it doesn't have to mean that it's true. Please refrain for using Bulbapedia as a source for itself. It's really annoying (not saying that you're wrong in this case, I'm not sure about this). --Maxim 12:46, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- There is a link to an official source on that page. Here. I was linking indirectly to keep the edit summary short. --SnorlaxMonster 12:48, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, well then. Nevermind me. --Maxim 16:14, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

PK, MN
How often would they be used separately? I'm kinda iffy on them. —darklordtrom 12:26, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- I was thinking of only one situation where they would be (to do with glitch characters in names). But the main problem is that
{{Pkmn}}
already exists, and is widely used. There is most likely a better way to do it, but this does work. --SnorlaxMonster 12:28, 1 September 2010 (UTC)- If there's only one scenario then it's not really worth creating a template for. Template names are case-sensitive, so Template:PKMN could actually be something from Template:Pkmn. —darklordtrom 12:31, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- We could, and I had thought about it, but that might be a bit confusing, although I'm not opposed to it. And this one situation does spread across about 3 pages mentioning the same thing (Old man glitch, Glitch Trainer, Professor Oak). However, these could simply be left the way they are (and I would support it). --SnorlaxMonster 12:35, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- Well yeah hardcoding's an option (as that's what we've been doing previously). Could also add switch statements or put the characters onto the palette ↓down there↓ for ease of use... —darklordtrom 13:07, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- Perhaps if the template is left without parameters it displays PKMN, but if it has parameters specified, it works as normal? --SnorlaxMonster 06:46, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- If no parameters are inputted then it displays PKMN; if {{{1}}}=PK then it displays PK; if {{{2}}}=MN then it displays MN? —darklordtrom 07:02, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- No, I'm saying integrate it into
{{pkmn}}
so that if there are no parameters it displays PKMN, but if any parameters are specified it displays as Template:pkmn normally would. --SnorlaxMonster 07:04, 4 September 2010 (UTC)- While that probably wouldn't break stuff... I don't know if having one template do two things is entirely advisable. —darklordtrom 07:10, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- Well, if it is noted on the page... but I do see the problem with a double use template. However, one should only be used as {{PKMN}} while the other {{pkmn}}. I would almost suggest moving the other one if it was so widely used. How about we put it at Template:PKMN3 (for my template, not the old one)? --SnorlaxMonster 07:15, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Oceanic Museum
After your change, the layout box is now almost XBOX HUGE and all that black in it looks horrible. I honestly don't see any reason why the page can't be done in the same style as the one about Mossdeep Space Center and many other location pages. Tempest370 09:28, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
Saving images
It seems that you accidentally are limiting the palette colors when saving images. If you are using OptiPNG, use the "RGB with Alpha" option instead.--immewnitythemew 16:51, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Soft Redirects?
Sorry to sound like a n00b, but.. what exactly is one? --SilverCrono 03:50, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- It kinda already says on the page. "Note: This soft redirect exists to avoid revealing a critical plot twist without warning." Scroll to the bottom of the page and you can click the redirect button to go to the page. Same goes for things like Masked Man. The page actually wasn't set out correctly before, the redirect button should be at the top of the page. --SnorlaxMonster 04:52, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
Moves
It's to do with how the data has been dumped: there are a few irregular capitalisations. I'm trying to catch them as I add them, but I do miss a few here and there. As for moves like Spit Up and Fissure having 1 base power... I think that's just how it is in the game data. These aren't the final versions of the movesets (we'll have to figure out if/how they work in Musicals) and so at the moment I'm just trying to get the raw data up. Bikini Miltank 09:37, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Hey
TCG-only moves. When creating new Poké-pages, make sure it's as such: {{Trading Card Game}}-only moves. Thanks. ht14 00:44, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, that was only happening because of the
{{NewPokémon}}
template, which I see you've fixed. --SnorlaxMonster 05:09, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Hey you
Yeah you, the one with the breaking of the Pokémon infobox. Fix it! MaverickNate 05:09, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
- Looks like Sol got it. I was thinking it was one of those things that the server takes a little while to fix on all the pages, but it was actually because I accidentally put an enter in. --SnorlaxMonster 05:38, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
DL link
Since you said to discuss on your talk page, where is it said that items should be linked without {{DL}}
? Some items share names with trainer classes and other things, and would require it to be linked that way. It's Turtwig A! My talk or wiki edits 21:17, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
- I think the only item in that situation is Metronome, which could be linked to that way, or as {{OBP|Metronome|item}}. The main problem with section links is if that section gets split off into its own article, or it gets renamed.
- Case A: When the Master Ball was given its own page, many links still lead to Master Ball. This is probably still the case, and it is very difficult to fix as there is no "WhatLinksHere" for section links. Links which lead to what was the redirect Master Ball didn't need to be fixed.
- Case B: When the template
{{Item}}
was introduced, many sections were renamed. For example, the TinyMushroom and Big Mushroom had a joint section known as TinyMushroom and Big Mushroom. The new template meant that they needed to be linked to as TinyMushroom and Big Mushroom instead. Because it was easy to change the redirects, anything that lead to the redirects TinyMushroom and Big Mushroom was fixed almost instantly. However, section links to the old title still exist.
- The main thing is, redirects to sections are fine. That is why if I want to link to the glitch move TM47, I would use {{m|TM47}} instead of {{DL|List of glitch moves|TM47}}. --SnorlaxMonster 02:30, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
- Alright then. It's Turtwig A! My talk or wiki edits 12:02, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Okay then. Pity that the other towns don't appear in the credits too. --Maxim 15:36, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
B óË ÁN
Or just simply move it to "FireRed / LeafGreen glitch Pokémon", although with it being legitimate one way and not the other pushes me towards moving it too.
Make sure to have a redirect though. OwnageMuch 09:51, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- B óË ÁN was just the first name discovered. If we can get an index number for the thing we could move it to Glitch (INDEX NUMBER). But the only legitmate encounter uses óË {e Ái so we should use that, at least for now. Besides, the page needs cleanup. --SnorlaxMonster 10:04, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Kyurem
Someone already re-added it, but I just wanted to explain my justification for its ice type representing an absence of energy. It parallels the Wuji symbolism, in that it can represent the absence of Yin and Yang (Reshi and Zekki's basis), or the absence of energy (Reshi and Zekki's fire and electricity). I understand the fire-ice-lightning parallels, but in this case it seems to have additional symbolism, with Kyurem appearing to be a sort of mediating force or happy medium between Reshiram and Zekrom, akin to Rayquaza's negating effects on Groudon and Kyogre. --AndyPKMN 12:25, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
- I can see how ice is the lack of fire (heat), but not how it is the lack of electricity. --SnorlaxMonster 12:32, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

"Base stats" - How base stats of ????? are calculated? Do they are stats at lvl 5 (or 1) or what? (I checked a ????? FE version lvl1 stats on Crystal and they were 6 attack, 6 defense, 7 special attack, 8 special defense and 7 speed) Marked +-+-+ 13:44, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
- Base stats aren't stats at any particular level. They are the base numbers used in the calculations. For more info, see base stats (which the template should link to). --SnorlaxMonster 23:42, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
Regarding Sinnoh Route 214
Can you check it over what you added? I'm not sure if you made the errors in both the description and in-game text. If the errors are meant to be, you could mention it under the trivia. ht14 00:39, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

Unique base stat total trivia
I put down the Moroboraeu unique BST trivia by using another page as a guide: Rhyperior. There's three points of trivia there regarding his stats. In fact, that trivia point I pasted almost-verbatim from there and I have seen other Pokemon pages with trivia about statistics (Shuckle for instance). Should those be removed as well, then? --Chicobo329 20:15, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oh wait, you mean like trivia that says 'this is the only Pokemon with a base stat total of n'? Is it okay to give trivia points if the Pokemon has the highest base stat of its type (like highest or lowest HP)?--Chicobo329 20:22, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's fine to have "this Pokémon has the highest Stat of all ???-type Pokémon", I even left that piece of trivia there. What it is not okay to do is add "This Pokémon is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of XXX". I didn't remove our edit at all. If you see any unique base stat total trivia around, please delete it. --SnorlaxMonster 01:15, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- who said that trivia wasnt ok? -- MAGNEDETH 17:45, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- It was in an edit summary somewhere, but even though I tried, I can't look through all of the pages of Pokémon with unique base stat totals to find it. The best I've been able to find is an edit summary from sol. But really, there are way too may Pokémon with unique base stat totals to be listing that in the trivia anyway. However, a category might be a good idea. --SnorlaxMonster 00:33, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- I would happily generate that table, by the way. ^_^ Still, if I did that, it'd create a bit of work removing the trivia from each Pokémon, though the task would be significantly less burdensome with a reference table. *waits for the green light from an admin* «hexagonTHEORY» 18:32, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Evolution and Dream World abilities
I'm asking this here because I haven't gotten a response on Talk:Pokémon Dream World. A recent edit summary of yours stated that Daruma Mode Hihidaruma "can't have evolved". But what happens when a Darumakka with the ability Inner Focus (also obtained from the Dream World) evolves? Does the ability revert to Hihidaruma's standard ability (Brute Force), or does the Darumakka evolve into a Hihidaruma with Daruma mode? --AndyPKMN 12:08, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, that's a good question. I think that Dream World Daruma lose their Dream World ability, but now that I think about it, they might actually change like the other abilities. I need someone with BW to confirm this for me. --SnorlaxMonster 07:06, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
- User:Surskitty just commented on my inquiry on the Dream World's talk page that yes, apparently Inner Focus Darumakka evolve into Daruma Mode Hihidaruma. --AndyPKMN 20:55, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

Pokémon Mini

- Great. Can you fix up the table at Pokémon mini#Pokémon Channel so that it says which game Pikachu's Rocket Start was based on, and confirm that Puzzle Collection Petit was only based on Pokémon Puzzle Collection and not Pokémon Puzzle Collection Vol.2. --SnorlaxMonster 12:31, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- Alright, I think that's done. I removed "Pokémon" from Puzzle Collection Petit since the game refers to it without "Pokémon" in the title too, possibly for brevity. If that was wrong, I apologise... Unfortunately, I can't confirm it's only based on Puzzle Collection as I don't have a Mini, but if it helps, the puzzles playable are:
- Motion Puzzle
- Level 1: Poliwhirl Minidex #15
- Level 2: Octillery Minidex #68
- Level 3: Hitmontop Minidex #74
- Shadow Puzzle
- Level 1: Staryu Minidex #24

Help with FA updating
I've searched around Bulbapedia for a while looking for this information but I couldn't find it so I decided to ask a Junior Admin. In 2 days (November 9th) it will be a month since I nominated the Pikachu article as a FA candidate. The last time I checked (a few minutes ago) there were 20 votes in favor of the FA status and only 3 objecting. I need to know if I need to do anything as far as making it official that it is a FA like updating the list of FAs. Do I do this or does an admin do it? If I do need to do something then I think there should be a page describing the process just like there is a page describing the nominating process. Thank you for any info you can give me.--Alex726contributions 19:28, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Alex and SnorlaxMonster. If an article attains more than 50% supportive votes, then the Editorial Board will discuss it over. Promoting an article to featured status is not just about the number of votes - but how strong the arguments for and against are. Typically electAbuzzzz runs this section of the site but since he's away at the moment he's left me in charge... Great, more stuff for me to run... So I'll remember to take a look over this in the next few days. —darklordtrom 20:17, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Headbutting without the National Dex in Kanto?
This has been bugging me for a few days, and the statement you left on AquaDragon's talk page indicates that you're the one to blame. In the lists of catchable Pokémon in Generation IV for most Kanto locations (except routes 26-28 and the Pokémon League, which should be ignored for the puposes of this post), the Pokémon obtainable with Headbutt have a subsection labelled "Post-National Pokédex", and "special tree" Pokémon even come with a note that they won't appear without the NatDex. My question is thus: How do you even get to those locations without obtaining the National Pokédex in the first place? In HGSS, you can't get anywhere in Kanto beyond the Pokémon League without bording the S.S. Aqua at least once, and Prof. Oak forces the National Dex upgrade on you the first time you try to board the ship. If the only way to get there without the NatDex is via hacking and the game refuses to cough up a Wurmple to cheaters, I think that should be addressed with at most a note on the Headbutt page rather than adding almost completely redundant and/or useless notes to pages that make users do double-takes. If there is a legitimate way to reach, say, Pewter City in HGSS without the NatDex, I'd like to hear it. --Minimiscience 05:26, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
- I actually kinda wondered that myself when Aquadragon started adding Post-National Pokédex, but I forgot that you were forced to upgrade upon traveling to Kanto (other than Routes 26 and 27, Tohjo Falls, Victory Road, and Indigo Plateau). I'll ask Aquadragon, as there may be some reason for this. --SnorlaxMonster 05:55, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
- My apologies, I don't think it was SnorlaxMonster's fault. My original intention was to update all the lists of catchable Pokémon with a Headbutt section (as the mechanics differ from Gen II and Pokémon appear by location) and to try to achieve a style of consistency across the tables. As such, I would probably have overlooked certain details.
- While I do agree that you cannot go past the Kanto region beyond r22 without getting the NatDex upgrade, I was thinking more about the categorization of Pokémon: theoretically Pokémon after #256 is not in the JohtoDex, so they wont appear until you've obtained the NatDex (this part is true for the Johto region, e.g. Taillow). But since, as you've pointed out, there is no way to prove which Pokémon will appear in Kanto before or after obtaining the NatDex (because it is needed to go there in the first place), thus "Post-National Pokédex" in Kanto would be misleading...
- So I guess I'll probably have to reorganise the Kanto tables to reflect that. The special tree part is more or less accurate; some Pokémon like Starly only appear in one or two trees. :) ---> AquaDragon 17:12, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
Nothing huge
But the File: prefix is preferred to Image:. It's not huge enough to go about solely changing the namespace around to the more modern version (Image: came with the really old Mediawikis; we're better than that now), but it's something to keep in mind when you're just editing.
Goodnight. —darklordtrom 11:53, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
- I know that and usually change it to File: from Image: when I see it (but I don't edit an article just to change it, only when I'm already editing it). Anything I did to do the opposite was purely a mistake. Can you direct me to the instance you are referring to? --SnorlaxMonster 11:56, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
- Pokéwalker. —darklordtrom 11:58, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
I could theoretically merge the two talk pages, but I think that's a little more effort than the situation really warrants. At any rate, having the two pages clearly defines which page the separate discussions are from and keeps the contribution history intact. Thanks for merging though. About time it got done. —darklordtrom 11:02, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
Lid and Wing Fossils
If I knew yesterday that Lid Fossil is Futanokaseki, it would save me at least 10 hours of my life (of my gaming). Therefore, I want to be shown at Lid Fossil is Futanokaseki. Do you understand? Now this information is necessary to look at other sites than bulbagarden and it is a pity. Please note that Pokémon Black & White is only in Japanese. What does every other??? --Issus 11:05, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- Futanokaseki is just the romanisation (so if you were to say the Japanese name, that's how it would sound). It doesn't look nice having the romanisation unless it's official, so there are a few things you can do if you want to know the romanisation of Japanese text. You can learn kana (the most tedious one), or you can probably find a tool online. If you can't find one, I can get you one. Alternately, asking somebody over at the forums should do the trick too. --SnorlaxMonster 11:13, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- You don't me understand me. I want only have at bulbapedia the information: lid fossil is Futanokaseki. That's all. --Issus 11:24, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

About the N Wiki logo
Hearing that you like the old logo better from the image page, I'll clarify what happened. I had to replace the old logo with the new logo because it was a placeholder I drew out. When I drew out the first logo, and gave it to someone who will finalize this. It didn't look pretty good as I imagined (and that thing is drawn around May!) So I cooked up a new one the day before Nintendo Wiki launched. With the help of dkpat (who created the new skin for Golden Sun Universe), he finalized the logo from my concept drawing, and it fared positively to my expectations.
If you are unfamiliar with the shapes around the "N Wiki" text, there's a purpose for that. The rectangles (red) come from the DS, and the circles (blue) come from the Wii. Both of these shapes represent the current generation Nintendo is in regarding their current consoles. Naw you just got Nintendo learn'd! --RAP 22:20, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
- Well, to me the old one represented a huge linkage of wikis. The new one seemed a bit overloaded with shapes. While gray is Nintendo's new color, to me it seems that those shapes don't work that well. The shapes in the background seem to be randomly placed and placed to densely. The old one makes me feel that this wiki is the center of NIWA; the new one makes it appear to be "just another wiki" (which could be what you're going for). It's not that the new logo is bad, but I still prefer the old one. I do find it interesting that my preference is the one which was done as a placeholder. --SnorlaxMonster 22:43, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

"said source is GCL isn't it?": Yes but I couldn't be sure which thread it was. I'd prefer that you ask me on my talk page for things like that instead of putting it on to the summary. I have no problem with it but it just makes it a little difficult to keep track of things!
- My apologies by the way for not being able to make a quick response about your teru-sama question. All 29 of them in Gold/Silver came into the items pocket by default (this was when withdrawing them from the PC). There was no use option on any of them, so I'm going to have to do a little bit of research with the game RAM (with my Xploder and its Trainer tool), though IIMarckus answered another question about the Town Map function on Talk:Teru-sama. He is more experienced than me with RAM/ROM hacking. Maybe you should consider asking him about it, though its worth stressing that his last edit here was in February 2009. He may no longer be active on Bulbapedia.
- Unfortunately, I do not own Pokémon Crystal, so I cannot test the teru-sama on Crystal. Hope that helps. --Chickasaurus 16:04, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I put that in the edit summary because I was taking a guess. I didn't really need an answer. It confuses me that all of the Teru-samas (or is the plural Teru-sama?) are in the items pocket when Bulbapedia says that they can either be items or key items. It could be in Crystal, so I'll ask Marked +-+-+. I believe that there is no option to use them, but if you hack in a use button they perform these tasks (so it probably shouldn't really be mentioned outside of the trivia). I won't ask IIMarkus because he has been inactive for so long that I don't expect a response. --SnorlaxMonster 04:59, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
- That's true, none of them have the USE option. I was going to try and force the "USE" function to load some teru-samas by RAM hacking and see which two used map and Poké-Flute functions. (plural using an [s] I would think because of teru-sama's literal translation "Lord Sunshine" and possible typo of teru-tama: "Sunshine Ball";) though as you already know, trading only one index number (0x73) to Crystal gives an equivalent item of GS Ball, basically because they come up for the data for empty placeholder items which the programmers could overwrite (the empty item pointer) if they wanted to add more items. --Chickasaurus 14:47, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

- Talking about a school report... Did you think a lot before posting that epic failure of an example genius? You seem more like a "Baby Administrator" to me. Are you going to get your promotion by annoying other people? Leave me the hell alone. --Duckdodgers95 12:47, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
Type-enhancing items
Hi SnorlaxMonster, I just wanted to ask if this template can be approved. It's a good template for pages like this. Thank You!--KayKay|Chat to me! 01:00, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
- I think it is a good idea, I'll approve it. However, I would prefer that you use the bagsprite of a plate rather than the underground sprite, as I suggested on the talk page. --SnorlaxMonster 01:37, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
- Done.--KayKay|Chat to me! 10:44, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
- Is it alright now?--KayKay|Chat to me! 11:35, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Section Titles
Sorry, but I REALLY was to edit my userspace. Stinkfly3 --Field the Torterra will always be my favorite! 02:08, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
Shelly edit
I put that none of Shelly's Pokémon in the anime evolved onscreen as trivia. However, it got erased and the reason why it was erased was the same as the erased trivia. I don't get it. PattyMan 01:01, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- It said that none of her Pokémon evolved onscreen in the anime. However, none of her Pokémon evolved offscreen in the anime either. --SnorlaxMonster 01:04, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- Oh. So it is not known if these Pokémon were caught in the bases they are in or came from their pre-evolution. An example would be Gary's Electivire where it was introduced as an Electivire and was not explained if he caught an Elekid or Electabuzz first and then evolved it to the final stage (which was actually explained for Paul's without the item mentioned for evolution). Phione
What the hell do you mean, "Pokémon.com's mailbag was once asked if Phione was legendary, to which the answer was initially no, but was quickly changed to no;"?? Is there a hidden message?--Kirochi 13:08, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
Not about Phione anymore. Is the new way I handled my fake trainer class acceptable (besides the fact that I did too much userspace modifications today, which wouldn't have happened if I had done it firstly)?--KIROCHI) (talk) 20:46, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
Orly?
Uh, aside from the haircut and tattoos, they wear the exact same clothes and have blue eyes, blonde hair, muscles, intended to please American audiences, THEY CAN SONIC BOOM!!! Now all we need is for the battle theme for Lt. Surge to be this. --Havoc48 02:31, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
- These kind of things are generally considered opinions and removed. They are both based on stereotypical American soldiers, not each other. --SnorlaxMonster 02:35, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
Re: Greek Translations
Oh, so that was the guy who translated all the Pkmn moves before me! I've got to admit it; he has done a pretty good job. Now, as for your...seemingly reasonable concern, you may relax. Back when the games FireRed and LeafGreen were published in my country, they came with some sort of guide to the game, which was in Greek. The generation I,II,III abilities I translated derive from it. However, when it comes to generation IV..., well you get the picture. I did not translate any moves or abilities from gen. V. Though I did correct the unofficial Greek names given to a few moves. --OminousWind 18:49, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
Pikachu in Huin City???
Hey Snor, I remember an official saying that no Pokémon from previous generations will appear in the BW games (including wild encounter or in any other way) till we get the Nation dex, right? However in the Huin City (2nd last building at the end of the city), there's a person standing with a Pikachu (the only Pokemon from previous generation that I've noticed in the entire game; off course, before national dex). Isn't it weird? May be worth a trivia line. What do you say? ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 11:15, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, trivia for
HuinCastelia City's page. It would be even better if you could get an image too. If Generation V or Pokémon Black and White Versions notes this statement, you should add this as a subpoint (but you would only need the image on Castelia's page). --SnorlaxMonster 11:25, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
Underwater
I thought the same thing, but if you look again, it's a page for the underwater routes found specifically in Hoenn (like how there are pages for the individual routes, etc.), not a generic Underwater page. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ 11:32, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
- Are the locations in Unova explicitly called "underwater"? If so, either that page should be moved back to Underwater (Hoenn), or it should be a joint page for both. --SnorlaxMonster 11:38, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
- I haven't played Black or White so I'm not sure what they're called. But I agree with you that if this is the case they should either be merged or have separate pages. ★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ 11:41, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
Could you help me?

- Usertags don't really exist on Bulbanews, which is where you're trying to make your page (SM, see here) :/ —darklordtrom 12:57, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
