The man at the leftmost counter will dismiss the player until they become Champion. If the player is Champion, the man will recognize their talent and introduce himself as Kagetora, a retired Trainer who used to be known as Kagetora the Eevee User. Having been forced to retire due to the responsibilities of adulthood, Kagetora asks the player to seek out eight other, older Trainers, each using one of Eevee's evolutions, saying he will reward the player if they can defeat all eight Trainers. The player can then ask Kagetora for more information on these Trainers and where to find them:

• Espeon User Ishaan can be found in the Geothermal Power Plant,
• Flareon User Chad can be found in Tide Song Hotel in Heahea City,
• Glaceon User Rea can be found in Iki Town,
• Jolteon User Jane can be found in Malie City,
• Leafeon User Linnea can be found at Hano Beach,
• Sylveon User Kira (in her decease grandmother Sakura's stead) can be found in Seafolk Village,
• Umbreon User Braiden can be found at Hau'oli Cemetery,
• Vaporeon User Polly can be found at the Trainers' School.

After defeating these eight Trainers, Kagetora himself will battle the player. After defeating his Eevee, Kagetora will reward them with the Eevium Z.

Malasada shop

The left attendant sells Sour Malasada for $200 and Dry Malasada for $200, which is immediately fed to a Pokémon and increases its Affection. The right attendant sells the Bag item Big Malasada for $350.
