Confide (Japanese: ないしょばなし Secret Talk) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation VI. In Generation VIII, it is one of the signature moves of the Impidimp evolutionary line. It was TM100 from Generation VI to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Effect

Confide lowers the target's Special Attack stat by one stage and bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly. Confide will hit the target even if it has used Protect, Detect, or Spiky Shield, but will be blocked by Crafty Shield. Pokémon with the Ability Soundproof are not affected by this move.

If powered up by a Normalium Z into Z-Confide, the user's Special Defense stat rises one stage.

The user tells the target a secret, and the target loses its ability to concentrate. This lowers the target's Sp. Atk stat.
