Sun and Moon update news

Just to let you know that Sun's Franc has been named as Penny in the VIZ translation so the picture needs updating and the cover for volume 7 on the VIZ releases has been revealed so once you get a chance to upload it then I will deal with creating the volume page as usual. -Tyler53841 (talk) 00:13, 15 January 2020 (UTC)

XY078

Since it was moved, I've been baffled why XY078 is classified as a main series episode, when to me, it seems like a clear special episode. I saw you having taken part in the moving conversation on the episode's talk page. Why was it moved, and should it be reclassified as a special again? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 10:53, 16 January 2020 (UTC)

It's not considered a side story episode since it focuses on Ash and co. and aired in the series' main timeslot. All of the XY episodes including the Mega Evolution Specials and the two end-of-series specials are considered part of the main anime series, however. --Abcboy (talk) 15:57, 16 January 2020 (UTC)

Ho-Oh

I have a doubt Abcboy. Can Ash recalling meeting Ho-Oh in the first episode of the anime, be treated as a trivia in SS009. Dhiwakar (talk) 16:32, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

It would probably go in the plot section. --Abcboy (talk) 17:40, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

Bot request

With "Leaf (game)" and "Green (game)" being separated into two separate articles, I've changed some links to accommodate the split, but many could still be out there that I'm not noticing. As such, could you make BulbaBot change every "{{ga|Green|Leaf" into "{{ga|Leaf"? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:26, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

Done. --Abcboy (talk) 17:40, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

Works in progress

Dear Abcboy,

I'm currently working on making some drastic changes to the Pichu Brothers page. While all characters already featured require some added details, there are several Pokémon that are recurring wild Pokémon in the series of Pichu Brother shorts and episodes, but aren't necessarily part of the Pichu Posse like Houndour, Snorlax, Feraligatr, Azurill, Azumarill, Smeargle and Murkrow. So I was thinking of wither creating a new page titled " Pokémon" to feature three main subsections: Pichu Brothers, Pichu Posse, and Other Big Town Pokémon. Or should these non-Pichu Posse members simply be added as sections on the Recurring wild Pokémon in the anime page?

Secondly, I came across a location called "Bloom Canyon", which appeared in the Chronicles episode HS17. I was wondering if you would have any Japanese details for this location and be able to confirm which region it is a part of?PardescanSlowbro (talk) 10:14, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

For the other Pokémon from the Pichu Brothers shorts, it might be worth expanding the Big Town page with that information instead? If you draft up what a separate article might look like I can take a look at it.
The line around 14-15 minutes in just says "in the mountains" in Japanese. --Abcboy (talk) 20:43, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for the replies on those. I'll have those two pages done sometime soon. Thanks PardescanSlowbro (talk) 02:55, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
I have several pages which are ready for the mainspace:
In addition to those there is this page, User:PardescanSlowbro/Pokéstar Studios Film Competition Regards, PardescanSlowbro (talk) 12:50, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
I haven't received a reply for any of these yet, and now have additional pages ready for the mainspace:

Rotom

Abcboy, must not the number of Rotom be x2 in the section Pokémon in the New series episodes, which are present in Rotom Phones, as there are two phones. - unsigned comment from Dhiwakar (talkcontribs)

If they both appear like in SS003, then yes. For upcoming episodes, only Go's is in the cast lists released before episodes air, and so it's unconfirmed as to whether Ash's will appear or not. --Abcboy (talk) 20:43, 24 January 2020 (UTC)

Some questions

Yes, I have some questions for you:

  1. Are the following pages fine for mainspacing:
  2. What programming language is BulbaBot written in?
  3. Will you publish a guide on how to write a bot that will work with MediaWiki?
  4. I have also a bot request. I want BulbaBot to replace all {{YouTubeVid|<video code>|ChickasaurusGL| with {{YouTubeVid|<video code>|name=ChickasaurusGL|Evie|. I'm asking you for this because I think it's too many of these to do this by hand. Also, Chickasaurus renamed herself on YouTube.

Please answer quickly. --TheICTLiker4 18:40, 23 January 2020 (UTC)

Both of those don't seem particularly necessary at the moment. BulbaBot primarily runs on the Pywikibot framework. The links still work and aren't broken so I don't think it's necessary. --Abcboy (talk) 20:43, 24 January 2020 (UTC)

M22 Brazilian title

Hi. On the Brazilian press release, M22's title is written three times as Pokémon, o filme: Mewtwo contra-ataca - Evolução and once as Pokémon, o filme: Mewtwo contra-ataca — Evolução (difference: - and —), while on Netflix, its title is Pokémon: Mewtwo Contra-ataca — Evolução. The logo on the press release is very similar to the English one. Should we change the title on the movie's article? Or maybe also include the Netflix one? --RafaelGN (talk) 01:22, 25 January 2020 (UTC)

The Netflix press release has it as "Pokémon: Mewtwo Contra-ataca – Evolução" with another different kind of dash, so I'd lean towards Pokémon.com's for the moment since it appears to be the "complete" title. --Abcboy (talk) 01:33, 25 January 2020 (UTC)

SS011

The title seems to be Koharu,Wanapachi and the occasional Gänger. Is it right and if so I'll edit it.--Dhiwakar (talk) 14:09, 27 January 2020 (UTC)

The title as it is already is fine. --Abcboy (talk) 14:27, 27 January 2020 (UTC)

Ok, and thank you Abcboy. --Dhiwakar (talk) 16:55, 27 January 2020 (UTC)

Go's Scorbunny

Scorbunny is Go's partner, and he can't go without scorbunny in any episodes(unless team rocket steals it or any other circumstances). Then why can't we add it under the section Pokémon in the New series episodes without proof. I understand that every fact needs evidence, but we don't ask evidence for Ash's Pikachu, hope you understand what I mean! - unsigned comment from Dhiwakar (talkcontribs)

New page

Why can't I create new pages, and moreover I don't know how to do it. I was thinking to create the page about Ash's Dragonite, but I can't. Please help me with this problem and thank you. --Dhiwakar (talk) 14:54, 28 January 2020 (UTC) Thank you,the problem was solved by ForceFire,I asked this question to FinnishPokéFan92 but he told me ask a admin and I asked you,but ForceFire involved in the talk and told me the answer. --Dhiwakar (talk) 14:18, 30 January 2020 (UTC)

LGPE model list

Hello. On the Gym guide article you added a statement about the internal data of LGPE using the name "Danpei" for the Gym Guide's model. Do you have the model filename list for these games? I'm not disbelieving, just curious to see the entire list. --Maxim (talk) 08:11, 2 February 2020 (UTC)

It's actually used in the string ID tables, which in LGPE and SwSh give each string that you see in the text dump a particular ID. One of them is "msg_danpei_01_p02_t007_r0201" in t007r0601.tbl. I've uploaded a zip folder of those tbl files here. --Abcboy (talk) 09:19, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
Also, wanted to note the anime character is named ダンペー rather than ダンペイ for whatever reason. --Abcboy (talk) 09:26, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
Ah, okay. Then I'll revert my edit, just to stay safe. Though I still believe and hope that this is the same character. Thanks for the files, also. --Maxim (talk) 12:48, 2 February 2020 (UTC)

Meowth - is he a recurring wild Pokémon in the anime?

Hello. I'd recently added Meowth to the Recurring wild Pokémon in the anime page as he is exactly that. He meets the criteria 1) Has been confirmed to be uncaptured 2) Has been featured in more than one episode. My addition took into account his main character status, as it stated that he has been after Ash's Pikachu ever since his debut, plus it had a direct link to his separate page.

However ForceFire removed the entry, arguing that Meowth can only be considered a main character and not a recurring character. I've never said he was a recurring "Character" only a recurring "Pokémon". I don't see why Meowth can't be considered both a recurring wild Pokémon and a main character, it doesn't take anything away from Meowth's main character status.PardescanSlowbro (talk) 08:45, 2 February 2020 (UTC)

I would say that a recurring Pokémon is necessarily a recurring character. I'm not really a fan of further bloating the list either. --Abcboy (talk) 09:19, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
How about Mewtwo of the Original series and Dia's Zeraora?
Also could I get a second opinion regarding some additions to the list of Ash's traveling companions. I'd posted on ForceFire's page, writing that Zoey, Ritchie and Dia are questionable additions as they technically didn't travel to another location with the group, rather they just appeared in a few concurrent episodes in the same location.
And I'd made some changes to BW058 which were undone, however I consider the additions to the major events section to be important to the plot and series overall as Chili left the Striaton Gym, his Pansear learned a new move after being tutured by Cilan, and afterwards Chili decided to return to the Striaton Gym. Thoughts?PardescanSlowbro (talk) 10:53, 2 February 2020 (UTC)
Could I please get an answer to the above queries, thanks? PardescanSlowbro (talk) 12:08, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
I don't particularly like bloating it further, and it's on my to-do list to either split or prune that list. Two consecutive episodes isn't really "recurring", and movie Pokémon aren't generally listed or Diancie/Hoopa would probably be there too.
He's not a main character, and the status quo remained unchanged from before/after the episode. --Abcboy (talk) 01:04, 12 February 2020 (UTC)

Go's Scyther

I've created a userpage article for . I know it isn't ready for mainspacing but a few of the members who have edited it seem confused over what should be added. Would you mind help letting them know. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=User:BigDocFan/Go%27s_Scyther&action=history--BigDocFan (talk) 16:22, 2 February 2020 (UTC)

Go Park complex

I think GO Park's "In other languages" section should also list the other language names of "GO Park complex", which is how the facility is labeled as upon entering it. Could you help with that? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 07:30, 5 February 2020 (UTC)

That distinction is only in English, every other language uses "GO Park" for both cases. --Abcboy (talk) 14:55, 5 February 2020 (UTC)

AG097

Move disputes

The Sun & Moon series is over, but I've still got a couple of move-related things to talk about it:

  • Can we confirm that Mallow's Tsareena used Sweet Scent in her second evolution episode? The move's animation and effect are identical to how they were depicted in its earlier stages.
  • In SM117, Shaymin uses Aromatherapy for the first time, that much has been undisputably confirmed. But the "major events" section for the episode doesn't list it. Instead, it's listed as a major event in SM134, where it's first called out loud. Can that major event be moved to SM117's major events, since the revelation really happened there?
  • In SM078, Blacephalon clearly used Mind Blown multiple times by exploding its own head, which is what the move is depicted as in the games. However, there has been dispute whether this is it using a move or it just using a natural ability of its. I'm personally leaning towards it being a move, since I'd personally list this as a move with a unique animation. What's your opinion?

Can you help with these? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 20:38, 19 February 2020 (UTC)

I also just recalled two more disputed moves:
  • The Alomomola seen in SM033 used a move that looks highly similar to Hydro Pump. In SM081, we see a Hydro Pump used with very similar, if not identical animation. Can this be counted as verification?
  • In SM128, Pikala's Pikachu Bolt uses a move that is, in my opinion, an obvious Electro Ball. If compared with Ash's Pikachu's Electro Ball from earlier in Sun & Moon, the similarities are uncanny, and comparing it with Zap Cannon from SM127 will show that the move animations have some key differences. Do you agree with this evidence?
PS. Sorry for all the posts from the last few dats. I hope they're not too much for you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 07:53, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
I'm not convinced that being revealed to know a move is necessarily a major event. I'll discuss the rest of these with the other staff. --Abcboy (talk) 16:49, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
Anything? Can we at least say Tsareena used Sweet Scent in her debut episode? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 18:23, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

I find your population article very useful to look at, and I was wondering whether it will ever be moved to the full site, or if it can be updated to the USUM, LGPE, and SwSh data! - unsigned comment from Benjia11 (talkcontribs)

Charizard's Fly

I recall once seeing Ash's Gym battle with Falkner in Japanese, and I think Ash's command to tell Charizard to use Fly may have in fact been a dub-only thing. Can you verify this? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 15:47, 21 February 2020 (UTC)

Editorial Board request: Listing transfer-exclusive moves in Pokémon mainspaces

I've drafted a learnlist template that helps to accurately list the transfer-exclusive moves for each Pokémon, if they were to be mainspaced in each of the species' pages. I figure this is an incredibly useful piece of learnset information that, while present on the moves' pages, is glaringly absent from all the Pokémon's.

The preview there is generated via a script that pulls info from my personal datasets, so any tweaks that need to be made can be done near instantly. TehPerson (talk) 18:15, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

I've brought it up with the other staff. --Abcboy (talk) 04:12, 15 March 2020 (UTC)

TM/TR moves for Pokemon not in SwSh

A while ago, data for TM/TR moves for the entire Nation Dex was datamined from HOME, and I'm wondering if the mainspace will be needing them. I have the edit-code ready to copy-paste if that will be the case, or if we want to wait for egg and level-up moves to be available too first. TehPerson (talk) 17:57, 18 March 2020 (UTC)

It's still subject to change until they're actually available, so they're not going to be added yet. --Abcboy (talk) 18:35, 18 March 2020 (UTC)

Pokémon Journey

If the "Pokémon Journey" title is confirmed for the US name of the new series, should the "SS" episode code abbreviation be changed to "PJ"? And should the new series article be moved to "Pokémon Journey series" or something alike? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 12:16, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

It'll have to be discussed among the rest of the staff including G50 as the Acting Head of Anime as well. --Abcboy (talk) 16:13, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
Go ahead and do that. I thought it'd be good to ask well beforehand because I knew it would have to be discussed. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 21:12, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
Now that the series has officially been titled as "Pokémon Journeys", has the talk about it he abbreviation advanced in any way? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 12:21, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
And now the series has actually started airing. What's the decision? And shouldn't it be a high time to move "New series" and "List of new series episodes" too to match the series's dub title? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:45, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
The discussion about how to deal with all of the series pages is still ongoing, have poked the other staff about it again though. --Abcboy (talk) 17:55, 9 May 2020 (UTC)

Template:Merchandise Infobox

Apologies, I should of discussed creating it. I wanted to create a page for the Pokémon Mega Construx merchandise. All the images have already been uploaded to the Archives, but the Template:MerchCollectionInfobox seems more suited to Pokémon Center merchandise. There is Template:Boardgame Infobox which allows for more detail that I based this new one on. Is it possible for you to approve it so I can make the page? Thank you, - bthrussellUK (talk) 14:55, 17 April 2020 (UTC)

I've created the page Mega Construx Pokémon now. I would like to move on to other pages and use the template there as well if that is ok? - bthrussellUK (talk) 20:18, 19 April 2020 (UTC)
I'm considering broadening the existing board game infobox to cover merchandise, rather than having two separate infoboxes, though it still needs to be discussed with the other staff who specialize in the area. --Abcboy (talk) 17:55, 9 May 2020 (UTC)

The dub opening should be hidden on episode pages until either we have a confirmed airdate or title as part of the season. --Abcboy (talk) 17:55, 9 May 2020 (UTC)

Standardizing anime-exclusive event pages

Hello. I've already messaged Blazingfist, but at their advice I am seeking higher assistance with my query. I was hoping to standardize the layout of all anime exclusive competition pages to simply include a neat table of notable competitors and their Pokémon as seen on the Eindoak Harvest Festival page. I find the layout on other competition pages like the Pokémon Balloon Race appears lengthy and the list of unnamed competitors really adds little to the article. What does the editorial board think is best? PardescanSlowbro (talk) 14:35, 13 May 2020 (UTC)

Could I please get a reply to my query? PardescanSlowbro (talk) 22:43, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
It seems alright, but I'd leave the Pokémon galleries for unnamed participants, since they substitute for the "Pokémon seen in X" sections on anime location pages if the location of the competition doesn't have its own page. --Abcboy (talk) 23:06, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
I did see that some competition pages have "Other competitors" subsections in the sprite format like the Tour de Alto Mare page. Could this work for all the other competition pages? PardescanSlowbro (talk) 00:53, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
Movies generally feature far more Pokémon than the average episode, so I don't think that's a fair comparison. At the moment, the images on Pokémon Balloon Race#Other competitors aren't featured anywhere else. --Abcboy (talk) 19:22, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
I thought of another alternative, this way everything is in the same layout and not as lengthy. We could keep the pictorial style across the board, with the feaured images being from the event itself rather than being generic ones. I've designed a template to differentiate the placings, I stil need to figure out how to get these boxes right next to each other in a horizontal way. Gold for 1st place, silver for 2nd, bronze for 3rd and maybe a grey color for all other placings. The pages could have subsections for "Notable Competitors" and another for "Other Competitors".

Hello. I've made no progress with the competition templates thus far. Could you please help? I don't know how to get the two templates to be right next to each other in a horizontal alignment. PardescanSlowbro (talk) 13:31, 24 June 2020 (UTC)

Two requests

I wanted to ask whether you could approve our tranfer-only move proposal in general, and in how far you could personally get involved.

I think I've made an exhaustive list of requirements at my talk page, and right now we're in the lucky situation that there's a decent amount of capable (non-staff) users willing to help and share their thoughts. We're about halfway done with #1, I got #3 covered, and I was hoping you could help with #2, #4 and #5 (and #6 in the first place)?

Yes, that's a lot, but there's obviously no strict deadline, I could be taking care of most the actual work that's still missing, I'm willing to coordinate this closely with you, and I'm also okay with being responsible for this project as a whole. (This may apply to others too.) However, this cannot be done without staff, and quite frankly, I think you're the best shot out of that handful of people who could potentially help. (If there's other staff willing to help, that'd be nice, too.)

Also, I would like you to relax the userspace policy. There are many situations when I'd like to make more than three userspace edits in a day, and I think in such cases Bulbapedia should be interested not to disallow that. (I know that it wouldn't usually be enforced then, but it's still an unneccessarily strict rule anyway.) I propose adding something like "for personal use" or "not intended to help improve the encyclopedic content" ("unless intended for mainspace" is too strict imo). Nescientist (talk) 12:05, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

That's a great idea. --Bfdifan2006something to say? 09:10, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
Could you answer (or at least provide an update)? Nescientist (talk) 17:51, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
For #6, the proposed template above regarding transfer-only moves is still being discussed, though there's been general approval for the idea. For #4, the edits can definitely be done with BulbaBot once the code is generated. Have been busy with other commitments/projects to actively help, though I'll try to get it brought up again soon.
As for the userspace policy, for most template and pages intended for the mainspace covers most of the use cases, including drafts/data entry. There isn't a blanket exception, since we do reserve the right to deem something that claims to be as not actually meant for the mainspace. I agree that the actual enforcement of many policies does deviate from the written text, which is an ongoing issue that I hope to have addressed eventually. --Abcboy (talk) 23:06, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
Hadn't seen that section, actually. Anyway, just to be sure, is "there's been general approval for the idea" an OK for the idea (and it's just about the details), or is it a generally positive reception but not actually an OK? That makes a huge difference (to me).
You "try to get it brought up" with.. yourself? Or ask for other staff members who might be less busy? How long would that take?
If I were to edit, say, my /Movedata subpage; improve/correct the transfer-only data; fix links/images after moves; improve/correct any "intended for mainspace" article; or even just revert a vandal edit, I'd technically be violating the userspace policy if it's my first edit of the day, or my 4+th userspace edit of the day. It's just absurd; I really should not (technically) be doomed to wait for UTC midnight to do any of these. I see your point - just include that as well (such as "enforced by staff"/"as perceived by staff" or something). Nescientist (talk) 14:59, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
Still waiting.. Nescientist (talk) 15:55, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
The Editorial Board is meeting this weekend, will be bringing it up then. --Abcboy (talk) 21:35, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
So? Nescientist (talk) 16:37, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
Ran out of time during the meeting. In the meantime, I'm delegating this matter to Tiddlywinks to get the details sorted out. I'm personally giving a go-ahead as acting Head of Games for the idea, and the offer to have BulbaBot add them once the data is set up also still stands. --Abcboy (talk) 14:35, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
Thanks!
Did you delegate the policy-related question as well, or will you try to address it eventually? (I'd just like to make sure that I've expressed my concern adequately, then concentrate on other things while you guys take care of it.) Nescientist (talk) 18:16, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
We're currently undergoing a overall policy overhaul, so once we reach the userspace-related policies, I'll bring it up. --Abcboy (talk) 18:22, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

When you said not to assist…

Did that include changing the links in the articles?--KnightGalarie (talk) 22:32, 20 May 2020 (UTC)

Yes, BulbaBot will be taking care of them all shortly. --Abcboy (talk) 22:34, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
BulbaBot left some jobs unfinished: there are still dozens of redirect links to the moved Mewtwo articles that still need to be fixed. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 10:25, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
Also, I just remembered: the footers of anime series Pokédex templates still feature the old series names. Something should probably be done about that. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:54, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
You may have made a mistake while editing the "Episodelistbody" template, since I see "until" where there should be "from" when viewing an episode list. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:11, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
These should all have been resolved. --Abcboy (talk) 23:06, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
They are. Thank you. I'm not sure if the Pokédex templates look good without anything at the bottom, but it's better than the old series names, I suppose. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:48, 3 June 2020 (UTC)

New template for checking for existence of files

I have just created a template for checking the existence of files: User:Bfdifan2006/fileexist. Could you please rate it? I have created it for a variation of {{movegen}} that will work for Weather Ball to make sure this category doesn't contain any articles.

Also, if my new templates will become mainspaced, delete User:Keyacom/fileexist. --Bfdifan2006something to say? 07:49, 2 June 2020 (UTC)

There are currently templates in the works to replace the old movegen template. Adding more parser functions would just push the page towards the category of pages with too many expensive parser function calls. --Abcboy (talk) 23:06, 2 June 2020 (UTC)

Pokétoon

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u909_O6CqYc https://twitter.com/Pokemon_cojp/status/1268733504017350659 Why was the page about the Pokémon short deleted? Is it official material released by the brand's official networks. At what point is this not notable?Hikaru Wazana (talk) 02:45 , 05 May 2020 (UTC)

It's a single 4-minute short on a channel with over a hundred videos, if it becomes a series then it would probably be notable, but for now it can go with the rest of the Kids TV videos. --Abcboy (talk) 02:49, 5 June 2020 (UTC)

Electro Ball dispute

In SM129, a Pikachu uses a move that some higher-ups have claimed unconfirmed, saying that Electro Ball and Zap Cannon look too similar, although I and many others consider it to definitely be Electro Ball. I've gathered some evidence that hopefully proves the move's identity as Electro Ball, and not Zap Cannon.

The Zap Cannon has a distinctively more greenish color scheme than Electro Ball, which is more yellow. Can this move be confirmed as Electro Ball? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 16:39, 5 June 2020 (UTC)

It seems fine to call it Electro Ball. --Abcboy (talk) 19:22, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

Anime series titles

Sync Pairs edit

Hi, I suggested some time ago an edit for the Sync Pairs lists of Pokémon Masters, since a lot of Sync Pairs was doubled (for exemple multiple forms occupy 2 slots and the Sync Pairs that evolves occupy 2 or 3 slots and all the main characters sync pairs are doubled, so the Kanto's starters occupy a total of 18 slots even if they are just 3 Sync pairs (without considering others Sync Pairs of the main character). I tryed to use the Sync Pairs character order for the list instead of the releasing order, since I think would look better in that way.
When I proposed this nobody answered me, and I tried to edit it for myself making a lot of little edits since a unique large edit would be blocked and considered vandalism. But the edits was cancelled because need approval, but still nobody saw my suggestion and said nothing about that (I can't even make a sandbox because I cannot even make my user page).
Hoping in a answer soon and thanks :)--Zarxiel94 (talk) 10:17, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

Netflix Journeys stuff

Hi! Good job on the quick coverage. However, I see that some characters are still known under their Japanese names. Does Netflix have CCs (I think I'm one of the last people on Earth who don't use that app) or are we doomed to wait until the episodes air on TV in Canada or somewhere else (or forever/indefinitely if the CCs don't list the name of character speaking). --Maxim (talk) 07:32, 12 June 2020 (UTC)

Nope, it has CCs but not with speaker names like TPCi's, so they're unnamed. Canada's don't list speakers either. *sad trumpet noise* --Abcboy (talk) 07:35, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
Hell, why did they have to change the studio in charge... The only hope in VAs, I guess. --Maxim (talk) 07:37, 12 June 2020 (UTC)

Battle Court

Is the Battle Court going to be listed as part of the Master Dojo and not receive its own article? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 07:33, 23 June 2020 (UTC)

If there's enough to talk about independent of the Master Dojo/Restricted Sparring. Battle Court isn't even a proper noun in Italian or Spanish, and it's not like we give the stadium fields a separate page either. --Abcboy (talk) 11:21, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
In the same vein, is the Max Soup notable enough for its own article? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 12:15, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
In my opinion, since this is a wiki, this kind of discussions could very well take place outside of anyone's personal talk page. (And also sorry for that brief intervention here, abcboy.) Nescientist (talk) 15:55, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
The section there as it stands should be fine, if it gets unreasonably long it can be split. There have been ramblings on making more centralized community discussions, but nothing solid as of yet. --Abcboy (talk) 21:35, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
Just to clarify, I was basically just trying to say that (in cases like this) I prefer asking for opinion and consensus at a "public" talk page (like Talk:Master Dojo, or any reasonable talk page) over directly going to any single staff member asking for binding decisions. This wasn't about requesting a central place to discuss. Nescientist (talk) 15:16, 26 June 2020 (UTC)

Brandon

Can you make BulbaBot help with link changes regarding Brandon? Some time ago, his anime counterpart got his own article, so many {{FB|Pyramid King|Brandon}} or [[Pyramid King Brandon]] need to be changed to {{an|Brandon}} or {{an|Brandon|Pyramid King Brandon}} instead. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 11:52, 26 June 2020 (UTC)

BulbaBot can't easily discern links in an anime context from other contexts, so it'll likely have to be done manually. --Abcboy (talk) 20:22, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
I figured the same later, actually. Sorry if I bothered you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 07:43, 27 June 2020 (UTC)

Form template?

I think we need a template to replace the need of writing {{DL|List of Pokémon with form differences or [[List of Pokémon with form differences# every time a link to said psge needs to be made. Menu sprites are inconsistent

I don't know if this is the right person to talk to, but I have noticed that our menu sprites are not all the same shape. I know that this is due to Gen 8 expanding them to 68x56. Bulbapedia is using the old sprites for the first 809 Pokemon and is using the 68x56 sprites for Gen 8 Pokemon. I found the site https://msikma.github.io/pokesprite/overview/dex-gen8.html which has all the updated Gen 8 menu sprites in the correct size. Can we update the current menu sprites to all be the same size? The site also has shiny menu sprites but those are fan-made so just ignore them. Thanks - unsigned comment from Hero231 (talkcontribs)

We already have these images, we are currently in the process of upgrading old templates to support the new size sprites before updating them. --Abcboy (talk) 17:34, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

Rowlet/my talk page

I'm sorry to bother you, but we have a situation that is oh so familiar. (It's even Rowlet again, maybe you should consider just banning Rowlet trivia sections..) Could you have a look at the case, please?

I was under the impression that the edit warring policy generally applies to staff as well? I mean, if ForceFire is going this route when I'm building bridges, could you give them an edit warring warning or something? I may be biased, but seriously, I'm not under the impression that it's me who is unwilling to talk. I'm particularly concerned about ForceFire's final revert and the following page protection, which certainly smells like pulling rank in my opinion.

As for the content level, maybe there's a chance I'm getting my point across to ForceFire (and even a minuscule chance it's vice-versa), but there's certainly a chance I won't. So, as I said, I don't really care if it ultimately stays, but I can't help but point out when the reasoning for removing it just doesn't make sense. In any way, going forward I request that it's not ForceFire alone who makes that decision based on that logic. Nescientist (talk) 14:24, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

So, can you have a look? Nescientist (talk) 17:13, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
Am discussing the situation with the other EB members. --Abcboy (talk) 16:00, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
Just put yourself in my position: Almost exactly the same behavior and actions that bothered my happened again, a main difference being a warning instead of a block (which one may argue might even be equivalent considering how we're different editors), and now we're here almost two weeks after, the one-way warning still stands, the article is still what ForceFire wants and I'm still waiting waiting waiting. I really want to leave this behind, I have so much better things to concentrate on (we all do), but this is starting to get really frustrating.
Also, could you please acknowledge the three sections at ForceFire's talk page that I started and he hasn't responded to (while being very active elsewhere)? Can you help clear the second one up in a timely manner, the one that I followed up on? (The other ones really don't need any priority from my end, a simple "Seen it" will do.) Nescientist (talk) 19:29, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
Bumping, as this (still) hasn't been addressed yet. Nescientist (talk) 09:07, 30 August 2020 (UTC)
From the EB's earlier discussion on the matter, we decided that Force Fire's conduct was permissible/appropriate, though both sides could have taken it to the talk page earlier. Nothing beyond that at the moment.
As for the copyright rule, I'm not entirely sure what the justification for it is, but in general were a design to be based primarily/substantially on a copyrighted work, then I would expect the necessary licensing/credit to follow, which there's no indication of. --Abcboy (talk) 03:34, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
Wow. I'll need way more time to understand and digest this. So, well, thanks for the update, I guess, and enjoy your break.
As for the rather unimportant part, I never specified "primarily/substantially", I was talking a typical "may be". (As you might understand, it's hard to abide by a rule that is fuzzy and has unclear justification; but still, no priority required there from my end.) Nescientist (talk) 20:10, 31 August 2020 (UTC)

Unknown Origins Pokémon Template Approval

Hey, as I discussed here I thought it could be a good idea to move Meltan & Melmetal to their own little section on this page because of their unique status, or alternatively move the Let's Go games as a whole to their own section. I felt like the former suggestion would be the easiest and likely least controversial for now, so I created this template, which can be seen in use here in the Sandbox, and I was wondering if you could check over and, if everything's all good, approve the template for use in the main page. Thanks in advance! Gameskiller01 (talk) 13:48, 10 October 2020 (UTC)

Cram-o-matic information on item pages

I'd like to discuss the way Bulbapedia will represent the type and value of the item when inserted into the Cram-o-matic (on item pages).

As I have seen on the Air Balloon page, this edit added the Cram-o-matic table that lists the type and value. However, I'd like this to be represented in the item infobox. I made this template for such a purpose, which even has an example use, with Fire Memory. When I mean [...] we need to find a way to make it continuous with Template:ItemInfobox/Fling, then I mean the Fling template has to be adjusted so the lower corner rounding can be disabled if needed, by the use of a parameter and the {‍{#if:test string|value if not empty|value if empty}} parser function.

Is my idea good? I will also discuss it with some other staff members. --Bfdifan2006something to say? 13:46, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

Source for Production Code

This is a screenshot taken from What's On India app which is the official TV schedule app of India. It shows the TV schedule of all channels and shows airing on them in India. For Pokémon, it shows the season number and the production code as the episode. For example in the screenshot it is showing Season 1 Episode 110 which is the production code for EP010. --Yash Sen 17:25, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

Form acronym

If I may, I'd like to make a suggestion. It bothers me that Burmy and Wormadam forms sprites use first letter of their types instead of form name like other Pokemon. What I mean is that these sprites, should be renamed:

 413MS.png File:413MS.png (stays the same)
413GMS.png File:413GMS.png to File:413SMS.png (acronym from Sandy Cloak instead of Ground)
413SMS.png File:413SMS.png to File:413TMS.png (acronym from Trash Cloak instead Steel)

and if we're at it, I checked other Pokemon with forms and similar cleanup could be done for Rotom, Castform, Lycanroc.--Rocket Grunt 12:57, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

User:Hikaru Wazana/Electric (single)

Hi Hello. I made this page about the video and the new music from the 25 years of the franchise. As there are some pages for music and the video has a story being told in it, is there any chance of it going to the mainspace? It took a bit of research to put things together, but I think it's ok for now. Or at least indicate to me who I have to talk to to have an assessment from an administrator? Thanks in advance. --Hikaru Wazana (talk) 18:50, 17 May 2021 (UTC)

The page as it stands is fairly disorganized--the title and infobox claim it's about the single but the page is mostly about the music video. In terms of notability, it would probably best be formatted as a page on the song first, and secondarily about the single/music video. --Abcboy (talk) 17:06, 26 May 2021 (UTC)

Done. --Abcboy (talk) 21:43, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
Thank you. But don't forget to also add it to the Teletoon segment. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 22:03, 28 July 2021 (UTC)

Pokemon Adventures updates

Though their are two separate volumes being released today, thanks to the main volumes now also being released digitally I was able to use that to handle Black 2 and White 2's final volume to help lessen the workload. However, when I will receive my first volume for Sword and Shield, I will contact you again to let you know about the English names of the main characters as their pages have been move-locked and I will need your help then. Just wanted to let you know of this. -Tyler53841 (talk) 19:04, 10 August 2021 (UTC)

The names of the Pokedex Holders from the Sword and Shield characters are "Henry Sword" (male) and "Casey Shield" (female). There are the two page names that need to be moved for the Galar Pokédex Holders. -Tyler53841 (talk) 22:49, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
Plus, loads of links and texts need to be edited. Probably best to put a bot on the job. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 23:00, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
Also I finished verifying the nicknames of the Pokémon that have them so several pictures need to be updated on the Bulbagarden Archives. -Tyler53841 (talk) 23:32, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
Just about everything should be moved/relinked, feel free to tell me if I missed anything. --Abcboy (talk) 01:58, 11 August 2021 (UTC)

Everything's fine for now. Despite some burnout stress from today's hard work, I managed to update the links with the new chapter titles. Anyway thanks for your help. -Tyler53841 (talk) 04:28, 11 August 2021 (UTC)

In image links, Henry's name is written as "Soudo" instead of "Sōdo", so the bot didn't fix the pages where that spelling was used. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:27, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
Not at least all of them. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:28, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
I think I've taken care of the things that the bot missed. Not sure if all the image links are fixed yet, but all the text edits should be done now. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:58, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
Pikablu is changing all the correct links to the protagonists' pages into redirect links. Please help. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:15, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
I also took care of things the bot missed myself and once I recognized that I was more vigilant in monitoring as closely as possible, namely images and links to the chapter page via the English titles. -Tyler53841 (talk) 15:39, 11 August 2021 (UTC)

BDSP

Could somebody either unlock the Brilliant Diamond and Spacial Pearl page for me or update it themselves? It's been nearly a day and no changes have been made and no new artwork has been added despite the fact that we know that it will have an expanded Pokédex, the Veilstone Game Corner has been replaced with a Metronome Style Shop, Super Contests, the Grand Underground, etc. Sorry if I'm coming off as annoying, it just really bugs me to see the page unchanged when we have so much new info. Alolan Ninetales (talk) 10:16, 19 August 2021 (UTC)

Another admin has lowered the protection level on those pages. --Abcboy (talk) 16:51, 19 August 2021 (UTC)

Tower Summit

Can I change "tower summit" on "Energy Plant" to "Tower Summit"? It's written that way on the save screen. Also, while technically being the same location as the Energy Plant, should it be split into its own article or not? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 22:30, 11 September 2021 (UTC)

It should be formatted in lowercase in prose, as shown on the summary screen, though it'd probably be fine to format it in title case in titles though. There doesn't seem to be that much to say about either location, so it's probably fine to keep it on one page for now, like we do with Rumination Field and Pinwheel Forest, for example. At least it's not all crammed onto Hammerlocke Stadium's page. --Abcboy (talk) 05:12, 12 September 2021 (UTC)

Bot help

Your "Form" template has been mainspaced. Could the BulbaBot be put into work to change all "{{DL|List of Pokémon with form differences|" into "{{form|"? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 07:57, 31 October 2021 (UTC)

In addition to the aforementioned request, should BulbaBot be used to correct JN077's incorrect dub title across Bulbapedia? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 18:25, 25 December 2021 (UTC)
Whoops! Seems like you were already on it. Never mind the second request, then. Sorry. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 18:34, 25 December 2021 (UTC)

Sword and Shield Adventures update

Just to let you know the cover for VIZ's Volume 3 mini-volume has been revealed and in case you didn't know yet, none of Casey Shield's Pokémon that were introduced in the fifth chapter were renamed, so therefore this time there will be no renaming issues. -Tyler53841 (talk) 20:54, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

Journeys specials

Dogasu's translation for the Journeys specials, "The Arceus Who is Known as a God", sounds a bit clunky. Wouldn't a better translation be the one used over on Bulbagarden Forums: "The One Known as God, Arceus"? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 08:20, 21 January 2022 (UTC)

As long as you have permission or similar from the translator to use that translation on Bulbapedia, then that title should be fine. --Abcboy (talk) 15:16, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
Thank you. I've asked 神奇超龍's opinion regarding the translation. Waiting for their response. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 15:52, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
I see you edited the episode list page. Since they are heavily implied to be canon, would it not be accurate to have them be placed amongst the main series episodes on the list, similar to how the XY specials were? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:46, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
Even if they are canon (which is why they're still on the episode list), they don't necessarily fit between the JN episodes they were released between. The XY specials are always listed between other XY episodes in Japanese official sources, while these aren't/haven't been yet, so we shouldn't list them as taking place there. At the moment, I would say they're somewhere between the Mega Evolution Specials (where they're clearly advertised as special episodes as part of their series) and the WPBS side story episodes (where they don't necessarily fit/take place where they aired, because they didn't air in between episodes at the normal time on TV Tokyo) right now. --Abcboy (talk) 20:47, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
Understood. What if Goh catches the Hoothoot seen in today's main series episode in one of the upcoming Legends specials? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 21:50, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
Arceus the One Called God logo.png

(resetting indent) Re:the name, I think "The One Called God, Arceus", or "Arceus, the One Called God" are better. I don't know why people want to use "Known" (or somehow attribute it to a "specific" Arceus). As a piece of English, I think the latter is better ("Arceus, ..."). Tiddlywinks (talk) 00:04, 22 January 2022 (UTC)

I'm leaning towards Tiddlywinks' translation for this one, particularly on the latter. --超龍Chao 01:35, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
That translation fits for me too. Can the article be moved under that title? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:31, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
All right, everything should be moved and relinked. --Abcboy (talk) 19:47, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
Nice. I also tweaked JNS01's title a tiny bit by changing "Fes" to "Fest". --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:52, 22 January 2022 (UTC)

Text is visible when reading a page, but not when editing it

Hello - regarding the "Pokémon Diamond & Pokémon Pearl: Super Music Collection" article for Bulbapedia:Project Music, I was trying to spruce up that article a bit, mainly given the recent release of the "Pokémon DP Sound Library" for English-language markets. I was about to add some relevant artwork for the gallery, but upon editing the page, I realized that a large part of the page's second half was missing; I narrowed it down to roughly where the "headphones" emoji appears when one reads the page (which is directly from the English-language YouTube video). Puzzled, I refreshed my page with a cleared-cache and tried re-adding the rest of the page again (since I wasn't sure if I had accidentally removed a huge chunk of the page when editing myself), but that edit didn't seem to go through. As a result, right now, I can read the whole page and it looks like what I previewed when I was editing, but now when I go to edit, all the text beyond the "headphones" emoji is missing in the wiki editor. This quirk happens in both a Chromium-based Internet browser as well as Mozilla Firefox. I remember some text from the fellow SSBWiki saying something like certain mobile browsers can cut off part of the page in editor-mode when a user is editing (due to size issues for larger articles), but I was editing from a desktop computer, and the page's content didn't seem like that much in terms of size. In any case, I was trying to see if anyone could reproduce the issue on their own end/equipment. I was going to test removing the "headphones" emoji myself to see if that affected anything (and if non-emoji text could be used instead; I wanted to preserve the video's original title but didn't think that emojis would have that much of an impact text-wise when editing), but right now, this issue is making the necessary text inaccessible for editing right now.. Thank you in advance. Fenyx4 (talk) 21:11, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

As an update, it looks like I was able to "restore" the missing text for the Pokémon Diamond/Pearl soundtrack article for now, but the "headphones" emoji (like on this page; and as currently seen in this video's title) might be causing a bizarre issue in one of the article's 4th-level headers..? I attempted the "re-addition" that I mentioned earlier again; and when I included the "headphones" emoji and previewed my edit before saving, the page appears to maintain all of the text (including the "+" emoji and the "headphones" emoji) in the page preview. Then, when I went to actually save the edit, the page displayed as if my edit was saved, but upon checking the page history, my edit isn't saved, and all of the text including and after the "headphones" emoji essentially seems erased. I tried another edit without the emojis' presence in the 4th-level header, and the article saved properly this time, including my edit in the edit history. So it looks like there might be an editing/saving issue when one or both emoji(s) are present in an article's 4th-level header? The emojis aren't that necessary to convey the needed information from the YouTube video's title, but I was trying to preserve the YouTube video's title as intact as possible; I'm not sure if there's a workaround for this issue, or if emojis should just be avoided in 4th-level headers or something...? Thanks again in advance. Fenyx4 (talk) 06:22, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
It's a known issue with the software; some emoji (namely characters in supplementary Unicode planes) need to be HTML-escaped. --Abcboy (talk) 01:21, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

A Proposal

For Pokémon Adventures XY, it was unknowingly given that name when it's true name is Pokémon X•Y (as seen here [5]), with the circle representing the Mega Stone. I was thinking of moving the mini-volume pages to their proper names, and since you are an administrator it would be easier to conduct this operation and not making it as time-consuming in getting things done. What do you think? -Tyler53841 (talk) 00:00, 15 February 2022 (UTC)

Hmm, I'm a bit reluctant to add special characters like • to the page titles, but I could get behind that. Do you think the ORAS volumes should be moved to include the ampersand as well? --Abcboy (talk) 01:21, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

Three things

  1. The @ sign in your e-mail address (the one shown on your user page and talk page) should be replaced with something like [at], e.g. instead of account@example.com, have account[at]example.com. Nearly all spam is automated, and this is one of the solutions to prevent such spam because it does not match the regular expressions used for searching e-mail addresses.
  2. I know about the issue with JS-updated recent changes page, but I think it's because the JS interpreter of MediaWiki pages ignores the CSS defined in system messages such as common.css due to a bug, which Ciencia Al Poder has apparently fixed for WikiDex. I can show proof on Discord. I am Keyacom[hash]1936 there, and I am also on the Bulbagarden Discord server.
  3. Also, should I disable showing preview without having to refresh the page? This is also in the preferences. I sometimes remove duplicate arguments in template calls from pages, and sometimes, these pages can get long, so searching for duplicate arguments isn't as efficient. If I have the aforementioned preference enabled, the notice about where are the duplicate arguments does not appear. WikiDex does not appear to have that issue, I can show the proof on Discord as well.

Dub titles

We've had dub titles from far in the future revealed before. There have even been rare cases of a dub title being known before the episode airs. And to me, a TV guide sounds like a reliable source. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:05, 9 June 2022 (UTC)

While that is true, I think it's better to not take a new user citing unnamed "Australian TV guides" at their word without corroborating evidence. A TV guide can be a reliable source, but without knowing the specific one, it could be handwritten piece of paper for all we know. --Abcboy (talk) 13:21, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
I left a post requesting a source from the user. Let's hope they'll respond. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:22, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
I would probably otherwise remove the titles at least until we get a verification, but that would mean editing dozens of pages and then re-editing them again later with the verified titles. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:07, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
Rethinking about it, maybe we should leave things as they are until the next dub title is revealed from a reliable source. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:38, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
The titles indeed turned out to be fakes. Now all the fake titles need to be removed, and the false redirect pages have to be deleted. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:52, 14 June 2022 (UTC)

Repost of Request: Raising the allowed numbers for Assistant Directors and Animation Directors on the EpisodeInfobox Template.

I am messaging you with this issue due to it not getting the needed attention anywhere else. "In XY103, a total number of four possible to show assistant directors is needed when only three are allowed by this template (it will jump back to 1 if it's higher than 3).

In JN059, a total number of twelve possible animation to show directors is needed when only ten are allowed by this template (it will also jump back to 1 if it's higher than 9)." --DomiDsLP (talk) 23:01, 26 June 2022 (UTC)

LGPE Type image files

I was just wondering, on the Type page we are missing the icons from a Pokémon's LGPE summary screen. I really wanted to see if I could locate these from a datamine dump and fill in the gaps without success thus far. However, on the German Pokewiki, you are credited with proving the source file for these so I was wondering if you could help track these down? -- 4iamking (talk) 01:47, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

Requested edit for Template:WalkthroughNotice

Please add an optional part parameter to link the header to a specific part of the walkthrough of the other game. Pokémon Tower (mechanic)

I believe you were in support of moving Pokémon Tower (mechanic) to Pokémon Tower (Mystery Dungeon) back when you were a Jr. Administrator. Do you still think the article should be moved? Landfish7 05:11, 3 September 2022 (UTC)

We have more disambiguated game mechanic articles now, so I'm more ambivalent between the two now. --Abcboy (talk) 16:26, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
On that note, Memory (game mechanic) and Mystery Dungeon game mechanics use the full term "game mechanic" while Season (mechanic) and Pokémon Tower (mechanic) use just "mechanic". Could we settle on one for consistency sake and then move the appropriate articles? Landfish7 01:55, 12 October 2022 (UTC)

Lumiose City split proposal

I noticed you were the one who proposed the split of the Lumiose City page into separate articles covering the individual avenues and boulevards back when you were a regular Administrator. As your proposal has had what seems to be unanimous support since then, I thought I'd ask if you still think it should be split. Thoughts? Landfish7 07:43, 10 October 2022 (UTC)

Yeah, I still think it should be split. Lumiose still stands apart from the rest in terms of its size, and as it stands, the information is spread across the entire length of the page. --Abcboy (talk) 16:26, 10 October 2022 (UTC)

Gotta say, I'm a huge fan of the new layout for the berry pages. One problem though. JN numbering

I believe you, but do you think you could provide the source to the ATBAPM episodes being numbered? PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 11:43, 13 January 2023 (UTC)

The first announcement of the last season of Journeys told that this season would have the same amount of episodes as the other one (a few days later they rectified it). This is a strong indication that when it arrives in the West, it will all come as part of a single season.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 11:49, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
Yes, but Abcboy's edit summaries indicate that the episodes are now officially numbered, so I simply want to see the source for it. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 11:53, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
See the TPC YouTube, TV Tokyo YouTube , Hulu, NicoNico, GYAO, etc., which are all numbering it continuing from PM2019 at 137. --Abcboy (talk) 11:55, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
This is what I was looking for, thank you! PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 12:08, 13 January 2023 (UTC)

Ellipsis or not?

Thank you for correcting the JN122 dub title error by adding the missing three dots. However, upon noticing you had used an ellipsis instead of dots, I automatically assumed that's what should be done, and started editing links to that episode to have ellipses instead of dots. But then I noticed that JN045 has three dots instead of an ellipsis in its title, so now I'm thinking it should probably be three dots, shouldn't it? Or is there a difference? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 10:08, 25 January 2023 (UTC)

I've decided to go with dots instead of ellipsis for consistency's sake. Sorry for bothering you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 10:37, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
