Water Pulse (Japanese: みずのはどう Water Pulse) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation III.
Effect
Generation III to IV
Water Pulse inflicts damage, and has a 20% chance of confusing the target.
Generation V
Water Pulse can hit non-adjacent opponents in triple battles.

Trivia
- In Generation III, only a handful of Template:Type2 Pokémon could learn Water Pulse from leveling up. This is more common in Generation IV, where many Water-type Pokémon had their movesets altered to include this move.
- If Secret Power is used on water in Generation IV, it will have the animation of Water Pulse.
