Melemele Meadow in the
animeMelemele Meadow first appeared in A Seasoned Search!, where Ash and Mallow followed an Oricorio there to find the Yellow Nectar necessary for perfecting one of Mallow's recipes. Team Rocket tried to steal the Nectar for themselves, but they were defeated after Mallow's Bounsweet evolved into Steenee. Mallow was then able to collect the Nectar she had been looking for.
The meadow appeared again in A Mission of Ultra Urgency!, where a Buzzwole appeared there through an Ultra Wormhole during the filming of an episode of Alolan Detective Laki. After Ash and his classmates had succeeded in catching said Buzzwole at Mahalo Trail, they returned to the meadow, allowing Buzzwole to be sent back home through another wormhole temporarily opened by Professor Burnet.

In the Pokémon Adventures manga
Melemele Meadow first appeared in Homecoming and the Brilliant Professional Golfer. Kahili, after returning to Alola at the request of Hala, decided to investigate Melemele Island. Sometime after arriving in Melemele Meadow, Kahili was attacked by a Kartana and a Buzzwole. She attempted to fight the two Ultra Beasts off, but they disappeared soon after.
