Generation VII
An Aguav Berry now restores ½ of the holder's HP when it drops to ¼ or below.
Generation VIII
The restored amount decreased to 1/3 of the holder's HP.

In Adding It Up with Plusle & Minun I, an Aguav Berry was offered to Ruby's Delcatty, Kiki, by Plusle. However, since Kiki didn't like the Berry's bitter taste, it became confused after eating it.
In Homecoming and the Brilliant Professional Golfer, Aguav Berries were in the pile of Berries gathered by a group of Pokémon at Lush Jungle while helping Moon in her search for a special Mirage Berry.
