This is an in-depth walkthrough on how to complete the requests in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. For a list of all of the possible requests, see Task.

Missions are mainline quests which are required for completing the game, whereas Requests are optional side content that are not required, but give substantial rewards. Missions are not covered in this section. For missions, see Part 1 of this walkthrough.

To view the list of requests in game, press Minus (-) to open up the Arc Phone menu, and then press Y to bring up the Missions & Requests menu. Then press L or R to switch it from the Missions menu to the Requests menu.

There are two ways to track a request's exact location, using guidance markers. First, you can press Plus (+) when you accept the request. The other way is to press Minus (-) to open the Arc Phone menu, press Y to open the Missions & Requests menu, and then press L or R to switch to the Requests menu. Scroll down to the request you want to track and press A, and a flag icon should appear on the request list.

Request 31: Setting Up the Bogbound Camp

Maldon, an older man in a gray outfit carrying a wooden box, at Sludge Mound.
Maldon at Sludge Mound

In the Crimson Mirelands, head to Sludge Mound. Talk to Maldon, an older man in a gray outfit carrying a wooden box. He recognizes you as the one who quelled the noble Kleavor's frenzy, and asks for your help in setting up a new base camp by the bogs. He points you to someone named Odo, a new Construction Corps recruit, who could use your help at the camp site.

Odo, a man in a blue outfit carrying a wooden box, at the camp site and in front of a group of stunky.
Odo at the camp site, in front of a group of Stunky

Maldon asks you to head to the site of the camp, and see if you can help. (If you want to track a request's exact location, press Minus (-) to open the Arc Phone menu, press Y to open the Missions & Requests menu, and then press L or R to switch to the Requests menu. Scroll down to the request and press A to make guidance markers appear. A flag icon should appear on the request list.)

Make sure your Pokémon are around level 20 before proceeding.

Approach the man in a blue outfit and carrying a wooden box. This is Odo, the new recruit Maldon mentioned. He tells you to keep your distance from a group of Stunky that are taking up the spot where the camp should be! He wonders if he can find someone who's good at battling to drive them off... well, you're here. You reassure Odo that you can take on the Stunky (even though they're stinky), and prepare to battle!

You will be taking on all 3 of the Stunky at the same time. Stunky is only weak to Ground-type. It is also immune to Psychic-type and resistant to Poison, Ghost, Grass, and Dark-type. You could bring a Ground-type for supereffective damage, or a Steel-type which is immune to Poison-type. (You can also catch most of the static encounters in this game, so feel free to catch the Stunky.)

When you defeat all of the Stunky, Odo admires your strength and immediately gets to work setting up the base camp.

For helping Odo set up a base camp, you have access to the Bogbound Camp! Professor Laventon also appears to make use of the camp.

Request 32: The Headache-Stricken Psyduck

Tomma, an older lady in a pink and white outfit, in the office of the Medical Corps.

Martia, a lady in a blue Diamond Clan hoodie, in the Diamond Settlement.
Martia in the Diamond Settlement

In the Crimson Mirelands, head to the Diamond Settlement. Talk to Martia, a lady in a blue Diamond Clan hoodie. She lives with a group of Psyduck, but they've been suffering constant headaches. She asks if you or anyone in the Galaxy Team know about any medicine that can help them, because none of the medicines she's tried have worked at all.

Martia asks you to look for someone in Jubilife Village that could help the Psyduck. Return to Jubilife Village and head inside Galaxy Hall.

Head into the room with the pink sign above it, the office of the Medical Corps. Talk to Tomma, an older lady in a pink and white outfit. She knows exactly what will cure the Psyduck's headaches: she hands you a dose of a Secret Medicine that only people from her hometown in Johto know about. It should be powerful enough to heal any Pokémon's ailments, including Psyduck headaches.

Head outside of Galaxy Hall. Head to the front gate to depart for the Crimson Mirelands.

Talk to Martia to give her the Secret Medicine. She feeds it to the Psyduck, and they're already starting to look better! She was once wary about the Galaxy Team, but there was no reason to worry because you're so helpful, even to strangers! She even considers visiting Jubilife Village sometime.

For healing the headache-stricken Psyduck, Martia gives you a Max Revive.

Request 33: What a Massive Mushroom!

The blackboard in Professor Laventon's office

You'll have to do 2 things to unlock this request. First, complete Request 6: Mushroom Cake Marketing. Then, catch a Parasect. In the Obsidian Fieldlands, you can find Parasect as an alpha near Nature's Pantry, or in massive mass outbreaks. You can also catch and evolve a Paras in Nature's Pantry. In the Crimson Mirelands, you can find Parasect at Golden Lowlands, near Ursa's Ring, near Cloudpool Ridge, Diamond Heath, near Cottonsedge Prairie, Droning Meadow, or in massive mass outbreaks.

In Jubilife Village, head to Professor Laventon's office in Galaxy Hall. Press A to look at the blackboard for requests. Morel wants to investigate the mushroom on Parasect's back, and you'll have to talk to him for the details.

Head outside of Galaxy Hall, and continue to Canala Avenue.

Morel, a man in a green outfit, in his home.

Head inside Morel's home.

Talk to Morel, a man in a green outfit, for the details. He had heard that his fellow mushroom fans are interested in the mushroom on the back of Parasect, and he's interested in doing some research of his own.

Morel asks you to catch him a Parasect to study.

After catching a Parasect, return to Jubilife Village and talk to Morel to give it to him. You can select a Parasect from your pastures, so you don't need it in your party. You will give up the parasect permanently, with no way to return it or exchange it for another.

Morel sees the mushroom (if you gave him an alpha, he also takes note of its size), but... he isn't aware that it's the Pokémon! It turns around and scares him. His intuition is telling him that the mushroom is in control, but... could that really be the case?

For giving him a massive mushroom, Morel gives you 5 Candy Truffles.

Request 34: Croagunk's Curative Poison

The blackboard in Professor Laventon's office

You'll have to catch a Croagunk to unlock this request. In the Crimson Mirelands, they appear at Gapejaw Bog, Holm of Trials, near Sludge Mound, and Scarlet Bog.

Pesselle, a lady with pink hair and a white hat and outfit, in the office of the Medical Corps.
Pesselle in the office of the Medical Corps

In Jubilife Village, head to Professor Laventon's office in Galaxy Hall. Press A to look at the blackboard for requests. Pesselle, the captain of the Medical Corps, wants to use Croagunk's poison in some new medicine. First, you'll have to talk to her for the details.

Head to the office of the Medical Corps, which is the pink room two doors to the east. Talk to Pesselle, the lady with pink hair and a white hat and outfit. A person from the Diamond Clan told her that they make medicine by diluting Croagunk's poison, and it can relieve lower back pain! She'd like to give some to Buck, who's been suffering from severe back pain. She already knows how to make it, so she mainly needs the poison itself.

Pesselle asks you to catch a Croagunk to give to her. In the Crimson Mirelands, you can find Croagunk at Gapejaw Bog, Holm of Trials, near Sludge Mound, and Scarlet Bog.

After catching a Croagunk, talk to Pesselle to give it to her. You can select the Croagunk from your pastures, so you don't need it in your party. You will give up the Croagunk permanently, with no way to return it or exchange it with another.

She collects some poison from Croagunk, and quickly makes the medicine. She takes note of how both Pokémon and people can help each other in unique ways, and she gets the idea of making some sort of "aid facility" to better make use of that. Before that can happen though, the Galaxy Team needs to learn more about Pokémon and what they can do. Then, Buck shouts in pain, and Pesselle thanks you for helping her get the medicine for him.

For helping her get curative poison from Croagunk, Pesselle hands you 3 Full Heals and 3 Exp. Candy S.

Request 35: Battling with Pachirisu

The blackboard in Professor Laventon's office

You'll have to catch a Pachirisu to unlock this request. In the Crimson Mirelands, they appear at Cottonsedge Prairie and near Gapejaw Bog as an alpha.

Ren, a guardsman in a red outfit with a conical hat, near the Mirelands Camp.
Ren near the Mirelands Camp

In Jubilife Village, head to Professor Laventon's office in Galaxy Hall. Press A to look at the blackboard for requests. Ren of the Security Corps is trying to battle with his partner Pachirisu, but you'll have to talk to him for the details.

Head outside of Galaxy Hall. Head to the front gate and depart for the Mirelands Camp in the Crimson Mirelands.

Talk to guardsman Ren for the details. He hasn't made progress training with captain Zisu, so instead he came to the Crimson Mirelands to train.

Ren asks you to use only a Pachirisu in battle against an Ursaring. The Pachirisu must be the only Pokémon in your party. Make sure it is at least level 30 before proceeding. The quickest way to complete this request is to catch the alpha Pachirisu at Gapejaw Bog, which is already level 40. Otherwise, you can catch a normal Pachirisu at Cottonsedge Prairie and level it up manually.

Talk to Ren to battle the Ursaring. Ursaring is Normal-type, and Pachirisu does not know moves that are affected by Normal-type, so you'll be doing neutral 1x damage. Pachirisu's move list isn't particularly good (at best, you can weaken the Ursaring with Baby-Doll Eyes and then attack with Spark or Crunch), so this is mostly going to be a sheer test of stats.

After defeating the Ursaring, Ren commends you and your Pachirisu. He noticed how the two of you were able to understand each other, and hopes that he'll be able to reach that same level of understanding.

For showing him how to battle with Pachirisu, Ren gives you 3 Sitrus Berries and a Grit Gravel.
