Mega Evolution (Masters)
Mega Evolution (Japanese: メガシンカ Mega Evolution) is a temporary transformation that certain Pokémon can undergo in Pokémon Masters EX.

Certain sync pairs, including some Trainers that do not have Key Stones in the core series, Mega Evolve their Pokémon using their sync stone. This occurs immediately before the sync pair uses their sync move for the first time each battle. After Mega Evolving, their sync partner will receive a stat boost, typically split between two stats, that adds up to a 40% (×1.4) increase. The sync pair will sometimes have different moves and passive skills for the rest of the battle. As a trade-off, most sync pairs that Mega Evolve have a sync move that is weaker than usual—160 base power instead of the usual 200 or 250. Arc suit sync pairs that can Mega Evolve do not have weakened sync moves, and their Pokémon gets a 10% boost to all their stats (excluding HP), for a total stat increase of 50%.

- Brendan & Sceptile, Giovanni & Mewtwo, and Zinnia & Rayquaza are the only sync pairs that can use Mega Evolution whose sync move base power is not lower than other strike sync pairs'.
- Of those three, only Brendan & Sceptile's Mega Evolution is accessible without a Power Boost.
- May (Spring 2021) & Lopunny are the only sync pair that can use Mega Evolution whose sync move has a base power of 200.
- Sygna Suit May & Blaziken are the only sync pair to change all their passive skills upon Mega Evolving.
