Pokémon Brilliant Diamond ART Book and Pokémon Shining Pearl ART Book are art books for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl published by OVERLAP, Inc. in 2021. The books were included as pre-order bonuses at Pokémon Centers in Japan and Singapore.[3][4] The contents of both are nearly identical, with only a few artworks being exclusive to one or the other.
Contents
The books are broken up into two main sections, one featuring new art that was created specifically for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and one featuring art from the original Diamond and Pearl.
Remakes art
Pokémon
Official artwork for several Generation IV Pokémon are included in both books: Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Rotom, Phione, Manaphy, Dialga, and Palkia.
The Brilliant Diamond version also includes: Riolu, Pachirisu, Leafeon, Honchkrow, Lucario, and Electivire
The Shining Pearl version also includes: Shinx, Buizel, Glaceon, Garchomp, Gliscor, and Magmortar
Locations
Both books include official art of Twinleaf Town, Lake Verity, Sandgem Town, Jubilife City, Oreburgh City, Veilstone City, Hearthome City, Solaceon Town, Pastoria City, Celestic Town, and Grand Underground. Both also include art of Spear Pillar and Sunyshore City, but the art differs in each book.
The Brilliant Diamond version also includes Eterna Forest and Eterna City.
The Shining Pearl version also includes Route 217 and Snowpoint City.
Characters
Both books include official art of Lucas, Dawn, Professor Rowan, Barry, Cynthia, Roark, and male and female Team Galactic Grunts.
Styles
Both books include production art of Lucas and Dawn in several of the styles they can have during the game: platinum style, contest style, and cycling outfit.
The Brilliant Diamond version also includes the Pikachu hoodie style.
The Shining Pearl version also includes the winter style.
Misc art
