The Single Strike Premium Trainer Box (Japanese: プレミアムトレーナーボックス ICHIGEKI) and the Rapid Strike Premium Trainer Box (Japanese: プレミアムトレーナーボックス RENGEKI) are a pair of Japanese-exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Game products that were released alongside the dual Single Strike Master and Rapid Strike Master expansions on January 22, 2021.
Information
Coinciding with the start of a new regulation block were two Premium Trainer Boxes focusing on the Single Strike style and Rapid Strike style mechanics that debuted in the accompanying expansions. Each box contains a fixed selection of 157 cards: 49 of these comprise a selection of popular Pokémon, Trainer, and Special Energy cards from the Sun & Moon and Sword & Shield Eras, plus exclusive versions of Urshifu in either its Single Strike Style or Rapid Strike Style sporting the new mechanics. The remaining 108 cards consist of multiples of basic Energy cards. The selection of non-basic Energy cards differ between the two boxes, which together form a numbered master set.
Each Premium Trainer Box also includes a set of 34 acrylic damage counters, acrylic status markers, a unique coin, an accessory case, and fifteen booster packs. The boosters included in the Single Strike Premium Trainer Box are from Single Strike Master, while those in the Rapid Strike Premium Trainer Box are from Rapid Strike Master. The box itself can be used to store around 650 cards.
