The Charizard VSTAR vs Rayquaza VMAX Special Deck Set (Japanese: スペシャルデッキセット リザードンVSTAR vs レックウザVMAX Special Deck Set: LizardonVSTAR vs RayquazaVMAX) is a Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck Kit that was released in Japan on November 4, 2022, and in Taiwan and Hong Kong on January 13, 2023.
Information
Each Charizard VSTAR vs Rayquaza VMAX Special Deck Set was packaged with two 60-card decks that focused on the Flame Pokémon Charizard and the Legendary Sky High Pokémon Rayquaza. The Charizard VSTAR Deck included numerous Fire-types, with the titular Pokémon supporting the Pokémon V and Pokémon VSTAR mechanics; the Rayquaza VMAX Deck similarly featured Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX cards depicting its lead Pokémon and included a selection of Lightning-types. While all cards from the set were reprints from earlier Sword & Shield Era expansions, Charizard VSTAR and Rayquaza VMAX featured exclusive artwork. All non-power cards were also Mirror Holofoil and the two decks shared a collective numbering system and set symbol.
Each Special Deck Set also included a pair of deck cases, a pair of coins, a cardboard sheet containing damage counters and Special Condition markers, two VSTAR markers, a playmat, a pair of player's guides, a damage counter case, and a large card box.
