The Dragon Egg Group (Japanese: ドラゴン Dragon) is one of the sixteen Egg Groups. As of Generation VI, 45 Pokémon belong to this group.
Characteristics
The members of this Egg Group vary widely in type. Most are reptilian and look like serpents, lizards, dinosaurs or dragons. Most Pokémon that belongs to the Dragon group also belongs to another Egg Group.

- The only Dragon-type Pokémon that can breed which are not in this Egg Group are Vibrava and Flygon (which are in the Bug Egg Group), and Noibat and Noivern (which are in the Flying Egg Group).
- All Pokémon that are only in this Egg Group are psuedo-legendary Dragon-type Pokémon.
