A Teacher (Japanese: せんせい Teacher) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation II games.
In Generation II, they are women in suits with pointers. In Generation IV, they are older women in suits, with bags containing papers. In Kanto, they are usually found near School Kids.
In Generation VII, Teachers share their appearance with female Office Workers. One Teacher appears in the Trainers' School on Route 1 in Alola.

- All six of the Pokémon in Teacher Kaede's party in Colosseum are capable of Mega Evolving from Generation VI onwards.
- Half of her Pokémon got Mega Evolutions in Pokémon X and Y (Blaziken, Gardevoir, and Manectric) while the other half got Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (Swampert, Sceptile, and Salamence).
