Super Fang (Japanese: いかりのまえば Fangs of Wrath) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. Prior to Generation IV, it was one of the signature moves of Rattata and Raticate. It is TM183 in Generation IX.
Effect
Super Fang deals damage equal to 50% of the target's current HP, rounded down. It always deals at least 1 HP of damage.
Generation I
It will hit Ghost-type Pokémon, even though the type has immunity to Normal-type moves.
Generation II
Super Fang no longer hits Ghost-type Pokémon.
Super Fang is affected by King's Rock.
Generation III onwards
Super Fang can be used as the second move of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 2 bonus appeal points if Scary Face was used in the previous turn.
Super Fang is no longer affected by King's Rock.
