Team Star Grunt was introduced as a Supporter card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Scarlet & Violet Series (the Japanese Scarlet & Violet Era). It was first released in the Japanese Scarlet ex expansion and the English Scarlet & Violet expansion, with artwork by nagimiso. An ultra rare version of the card with artwork by the same illustrator was also released in these sets. Both prints feature a male and female Team Star Grunt as they appear in Pokémon Scarlet. The card lets the player put an Energy card attached to their opponent's Active Pokémon on top of the opponent's deck.
