Pokémon Diamond & Pearl: Galactic Battles is the twelfth season of the Pokémon anime, following up to the eleventh season. It is the third season of the Diamond & Pearl.
Pokémon: DP Galactic Battles is the twelfth season of the dubbed version of the Pokémon anime. It is the third season of Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl. It follows Ash and Dawn as they continue their travels throughout the Sinnoh region, gathering Gym Badges and Contest Ribbons while accompanied by Brock. Unlike previous seasons in the dub, there was no break between this season and the previous one.

It should be noted that the concept of seasons does not exist in Japan, where episodes of Pokémon air nearly every Thursday. An invention of the American broadcast industry, a season is typically aired new for nine months out of the year, with three months (usually during the summer) taken off to begin production for the next season, during which reruns air. In Japan, no differentiation is made between this and any other seasons in the Diamond & Pearl series. However, unlike previous seasons in the dub, there was no break between this season and the previous one.
It originally aired in the United States as part of the 2009-2010 Cartoon Network Saturday morning lineup. It began on May 9, 2009 with the dub premiere Get Your Rotom Running!, and concluded on May 15, 2010 with Gotta Get a Gible!. This season skipped DP120 due to it being a clip show.

It began with the dub of Get Your Rotom Running! and concluded with Gotta Get a Gible!.
It is preceded by Pokémon: DP Battle Dimension and succeeded by Pokémon: DP Sinnoh League Victors.
