(→‎In other games: Tested this with Amaura, it did not work, didn't test it with Aurorus but it's safe to assume it doesn't work there either. I also didn't test the other two on Mega Salamence/Altaria but same thing, the others do have it so they are almost guaranteed to have it too.)

Reason: What happens if Gigantamax Lapras with Refrigerate tries to use Max Strike?
You can discuss this on the talk page.

If Max Strike is selected with Refrigerate, it'll turn into Max Hailstorm when used.

Affected moves

The table below lists the moves affected by Refrigerate, as well as the Pokémon that can have Refrigerate and learn those moves.

Although the following moves are affected by the Ability, they currently cannot be learned by any Pokémon with Refrigerate. They may, however, be called via Metronome, Mirror Move, Copycat, or Mimic, or be used by a Pokémon that gained Refrigerate by an Ability like Trace or Receiver or a move such as Skill Swap or Role Play.

Outside of battle

Refrigerate has no effect outside of battle.
