ALOLA! is the first opening theme for the Korean dub of Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon. It debuted with SM001, replacing Remember times of Pokémon the Series: XY. Unlike previous Korean opening themes, it uses various episode clips from Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, containing no footage from its corresponding Japanese opening theme, Alola!!. It was replaced by an arrangement of Start of an Adventure in SM033 and returned from SM044 to SM068.
A teaser for the song was uploaded to the official Korean Pokémon YouTube channel on March 1, 2017 to promote the Pokémon Sun and Moon games. The full music video for that version was later uploaded on March 24, 2017. The version used in the anime was uploaded on April 12, 2017 and again on May 17, 2017. The second version used in the anime was uploaded on April 18, 2018.
The full version was also used as an insert song at the end of SM146.
Opening animation: Version 1 (SM001 – SM032)
Synopsis
Ash and Pikachu are briefly seen in an airplane before the scene changes to show several Pokémon including Alolan Exeggutor and Milotic. Ash and Pikachu are then seen enjoying a ride on Sharpedo. The scene then changes to show Melemele Island and the series logo appears moments later.
Ash is seen running up a path. Then, his classmates, Lillie, Mallow, and Lana smile. The camera then briefly shows Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio. Hala laughs and then the Rotom Pokédex is shown.
The scene then quickly jumps through several scenes including Ash, Professor Kukui, Ash's classmates, Alolan Exeggutor, and Bounsweet.
Rotom Pokédex is seen showing the regional forms of Persian. Then, Kiawe is seen riding on Charizard, and Mallow on Tauros.
Jessie, James, Meowth, and Wobbuffet are introduced, and then Mimikyu is seen deflecting Pikachu's Electro Ball. Next, Ash and Pikachu are using a Z-Move.
Then, during the night, Ash is shown receiving an Electrium Z from Tapu Koko. Pikachu then jumps onto Ash's shoulders. The scene then shows each of Ash's classmates briefly, before they all run out. Ash and Pikachu are alone, and the camera pans out.

Opening animation: Version 2 (SM044 – SM068)
Synopsis
Ash is seen running up a path with Pikachu. Ash is exhausted and down as his classmates approach him to cheer him up, as all are shown with their Pokémon. Everyone is sliding down the spiral slide, but crash into one another after reaching the bottom and colliding with the Alolan Exeggutor, but get back up and dance.
Ash picks up Nebby, causing it to cry. Team Rocket looks around with the background changing each time they move, including their food truck, Aether Paradise, and the Altar of the Sunne. Ash and his friends are marching down the path in a row as Samson Oak tries to join with a dance, but is hit and knocked away by a Komala.
Ash and his classmates command their Pokémon to use moves. Lusamine, Wicke, and Faba walk along a bridge inside Aether Paradise while Professor Burnet emerges from a pond underneath. Gladion appears with Type: Null which then evolves into Silvally. Next, Lillie appears in her "Z-Powered form".
Ash commands Pikachu to run and use Iron Tail on Mimikyu. Pikachu continues running and uses Thunderbolt on Yungoos, Salandit, and Rattata, then runs alongside Solgaleo. The scene instantly changes and Ash is with Tapu Koko, who flies off towards the moon and seconds later Lunala flies away from it.
Ash and Pikachu use their Z-Move, 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt. At the Pokémon School, Ash and Pikachu look at the campus over the balcony in amazement. Ash is sitting on the roof of Professor Kukui's house looking out towards the ocean with Pikachu and Rotom.

Trivia

- The lines "자 이제 시작이야 / 내 꿈을 위한 여행" are a reference to the first two lines of Start of an Adventure.
