Inteleon (Japanese: インテレオン Intereon) is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII.
It evolves from Drizzile starting at level 35. It is the final form of Sobble.
Inteleon can Gigantamax into Gigantamax Inteleon if it has the Gigantamax Factor. Gigantamax Inteleon was introduced in The Isle of Armor.
Biology
Inteleon is a bipedal, reptilian Pokémon that resembles a chameleon. Its head, slender arms, and tail are light blue in coloration, with its tail having a thin dark blue streak following the ridge of the tail. This dark blue coloration is also seen at the tip of his head crest and on its slender torso, which continues down the backside of its legs until the bottom of the feet. The front side of its legs and feet are black, ending in three-pointed toes. Its hands are also black and have five fingers. Its eyes have yellow irises and white pupils, with a black lower lid and a yellow upper lid. Its membrane is also yellow; this membrane forms a thin, wavy, fin-like crest on its head, and connects to the back of its neck before falling over its back in a cape-like fashion. It has a white diamond-shaped patch of skin on its stomach.
Inteleon has many hidden capabilities. It has darkly-colored nictitating membranes that allow it to analyze for an opponent's weak point. This helps it precisely shoot water from its fingertips at Mach 3. The membrane on its back is extendable, and allows it to glide in the air. It also has a sharp knife hidden in its tail. Inteleon is highly intelligent, carefully thinking out strategies before entering combat to ensure a swift and decisive victory. It is also known to be quite chivalrous and is completely loyal to Trainers it sees as worthy.[1] As seen in the anime, Inteleon has the ability to camouflage itself like its pre-evolved forms and has access to infrared vision. Inteleon is the only known Pokémon capable of learning the move Snipe Shot.
Forms
Close-up of Gigantamax Inteleon taking aim
Inteleon can Gigantamax into Gigantamax Inteleon.
Gigantamax Inteleon's body is barely larger than its regular form, but its tail has extended to over 130 feet (40 meters), stretching out vertically to resemble a tower. The tail has dark purplish blue frills circling around it, and coils around near its base to form a platform for Gigantamax Inteleon to take a battle position on. Gigantamax Inteleon also gains a small blue harpoon made of water, that it uses to launch attacks by attaching it to one of its index fingers. Its eyes have black sclerae, red irises, and pink pupils. Three red clouds circle around the tail a short distance below the coiled tail platform.
As a result of Gigantamaxing, Inteleon's many hidden body tools have been enhanced. Gigantamax Inteleon can detect and gauge temperature, air pressure, wind and humidity with its crest and nictitating membranes. Together with its sharp mind, this extremely skilled sniper can figure out how to use gravity for a precise trajectory shot, fired at Mach 7. This allows it to hit even a moving Berry that is 9 miles (15 kilometers) away.[2]
Gigantamax Inteleon is the only known Pokémon capable of using the G-Max Move G-Max Hydrosnipe.

Trivia
Origin
Inteleon appears to be based on chameleons, specifically the veiled chameleon due to the similar crest and color scheme to that of the males, and possibly basilisk lizards as well. Inteleon's appearance seems to also be heavily influenced by lizards of the Draco genus (also known as flying lizards), with its less curly tail, and its crest and back membrane resembling the dewlap and patagial membranes found in the genus. Much like Inteleon, flying lizards use their membranes to glide.
Furthermore, Inteleon seems to exhibit the motif of spies and secret agents, especially British intelligence. The coloring on its body resembles a tuxedo and trousers, and it uses many tools that spies are often depicted using, such as guns, knives and hang gliders. This connection with spies may derive from the chameleon's purported ability to camouflage.
Inteleon's Gigantamax form seems to draw inspiration from a sniper aiming from a rooftop or a watchtower.
Name origin
Inteleon and Intereon may be a combination of intelligence and chameleon.
