Maurice and his Torterra

Maurice (Japanese: カツミ Katsumi) is a Pokémon Trainer who appeared in The Rise of Darkrai. His English voice actor is Joshua Swanson and his Japanese voice actor is 山本博 Hiroshi Yamamoto.

He, along with Dai and Maki, challenge Ash Ketchum and co. to a battle.

Maurice is known to only have one Pokémon: Torterra. Torterra is only shown to use Bullet Seed and Seed Bomb.

• Maurice, Dai, and Maki each own the final form of one Sinnoh starter Pokémon.
• In addition, his is the only one in the trio to actually receive an English name.
