Carlita (Japanese: カリータ Karita) is a character who appeared in White—Victini and Zekrom and Black—Victini and Reshiram. She is the daughter of Juanita and her older brother is Damon. Carlita is also a descendant of the People of the Vale.
In the movies
Carlita participated in the Eindoak Harvest Festival battle tournament in Eindoak Town. She defeated Cilan's Pansage but lost to Ash and his Scraggy, which received a power boost thanks to Victini.
Seeing that Victini was following Ash, Carlita explains to Ash that Victini is the Victory Pokémon and said to have mysterious powers. She accompanies Ash and his friends throughout town, showing them around and visiting Mannes farm estate where Victini comes out of hiding and plays with everyone. the Sword of the Vale.
Soon, her older brother Damon has returned home and announces that he is ready to put his plan into motion - restore the Kingdom of the Vale to its former glory. With the assistance of Victini's powers, the Eindoak Castle, also known as the Sword of the Vale, is transformed into an ancient mechanism once again and begins to fly to its new location. Juanita and Carlita are horrified by Damon's actions, seeing that his desire is in fact hurting Victini. They work with Ash, his friends and Mannes to stop Damon and protect Victini. Later, Carlita helped battle her brother, using Hydreigon to help Iris escape from the Sword of the Vale. Carlita efforts alongside the others help stop the destruction of the released Dragon Force energy, Victini is safe and Sword of the Vale lands in a new location.
Later, Carlita and the other People of the Vale are helping to re-establish and replenish the land that will become the new Kingdom of the Vale.

Carlita is quick-witted and fiery in battle. She is otherwise kind and well-versed in her People of the Vale heritage.

Carlita used her Hydreigon in her battle against Cilan's Pansage in the Harvest Battle Tournament. It managed to defeat him with one powerful Dragon Breath. Upon seeing how powerful Ash's Tepig had performed in the Eindoak Town Harvest Festival Tournament, Carlita suspected that Tepig had been unknowingly powered up by Victini and requested a battle against him. Ash agreed, and used Scraggy to battle Carlita's Hydreigon. Although Hydreigon should have easily outmatched Scraggy due to the fact he was relatively young and inexperienced, another power-up by Victini allowed Scraggy to defeat Hydreigon with a single Headbutt. Carlita later used Hydreigon to help her and Iris (who had admired Hydreigon due to it being a Dragon-type) escape the collapsing castle.
In Victini and Zekrom, Hydreigon is Shiny. In Victini and Reshiram, it is normal colored.
Hydreigon's only known move is Dragon Breath.

In the manga
Carlita first appears after Ash has beaten all Trainers except her in the Eindoak Town Harvest Festival Tournament. She asks Ash if he wants to battle her which Ash agrees. Later, she helps out the protagonists in stopping Damon from controlling the Castle of the Vale.

Hydreigon was Carlita's choice in the Eindoak Town Harvest Festival Tournament. It went up against Ash's Scraggy and was proven to be stronger as it was a fully evolved Pokémon. However, Hydreigon was subdued by Scraggy's Headbutt after Scraggy got a power up from Victini.
Hydreigon's only known move is Dragon Pulse.
In the games
A Hydreigon based on Carlita's Shiny Hydreigon was distributed to the Japanese players of Pokémon Black at Nintendo Zones in Japan starting on June 17, 2011. The Shiny Hydreigon was later distributed over Wi-Fi starting on July 8, 2011. Both the Nintendo Zone and the Wi-Fi distributions ended on September 8, 2011. It was also distributed to the Korean players of Pokémon Black over Wi-Fi from November 3, 2011 to January 31, 2012.
