Earthquake (Japanese: じしん Earthquake) is a very damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.
Effect

Earthquake does damage and has no added effects.
Generation II
Earthquake does double damage if the opponent is in the underground (first turn) stage of Dig.

The effects of Earthquake continue forward, however, Earthquake both foe Pokémon in a double battle.
