Earthquake (Japanese: じしん Earthquake) is a very damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
Generation I
Earthquake does damage and has no added effects.
Generation II
Earthquake does double damage if the opponent is in the underground (first turn) stage of Dig.
Generation III
The effects of Earthquake continue forward, however, in double battles, it strikes both opponents as well as the user's partner.
Generation IV
The effects of Earthquakes are the same as in Generation III.
