Layla (Japanese: レイラ Leila) is a character who appeared in the movie Giratina and the Sky Warrior. Her Japanese voice actress is 南明奈 Akina Minami.
Ash, Dawn and Brock met her while on a train. While getting acquainted, the trio learned that Layla's great-grandmother recently celebrated her 100th birthday. As a gift, Layla and her husband Moose have purchased a bouquet of flowers native to Gracidea.
The flower's pollen is able to transform Shaymin into its Sky Forme. Layla and Moose explain to everyone about Gracidea.
Trivia
- Layla's Japanese name contains Lei, which is a Hawaiian necklace made of flowers. This is fitting because she is seen with one of the flowers of Gracidea.
