Igglybuff (Japanese: ププリン Pupurin) is a Template:Type2 baby Pokémon.
It evolves into Jigglypuff via happiness, which evolves into Wigglytuff when exposed to radiation from a Moon Stone.
Biology
Physiology
Igglybuff is a small, bipedal balloon-like animal that is pink all over. It has a rounded tuft of hair on top of its head, a small swirl-like pattern on its forehead, and red eyes in contrast to the teal eyes of its later evolutions. Igglybuff have small, stubby limbs.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
This small Pokémon is extremely elastic and can bounce like a ball. It may not be able to stop if it does this. It also displays the singing abilities of its evolutions, but isn't able to sing as long as they can. It also smells sweet to calm the emotions of its foes.
Behavior
Igglybuff's extremely flexible and elastic body makes it bounce continuously. If it starts to roll, its bouncing can become out of control and very difficult to stop.
Igglybuff can often be found practicing its singing. If it continously sings strenuously, its body slowly turns a deepening pink color. Igglybuff's vocal chords are not sufficiently developed however and it can often end up with a sore throat from singing too much.
Habitat
Igglybuff tend to live in grassland close by freshwater streams. They use water from the streams to gargle in their sore throats, which can occur from straining their vocal chords.

Trophy information
Igglybuff, which evolve into Jigglypuff, are so incredibly elastic that they always seem to be bouncing. They have stubby legs, so for these Pokémon, bounding from place to place is much faster than walking. Unlike its equally adorable relatives, Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff, Igglybuff has red eyes.
An Igglybuff stars as the player character in the special episode Igglybuff the Prodigy. This Igglybuff is the unevolved Guildmaster Wigglytuff from the main story.

Trivia
- Although the Pokédex states that when it starts rolling it becomes impossible to stop, it cannot learn Rollout by level-up.
Name origin
Igglybuff's name rhymes with Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff. Its Japanese name is a variation on Purin, the Japanese word for pudding, or the addition of an extra pu to Jigglypuff's Japanese name – a combination of 風船 fūsen, balloon, and 膨れる fukureru, to expand or inflate.
