Reuniclus (Japanese: ランクルス Lanculus) is a Template:Type2 Pokémon.
It evolves from Duosion starting at level 41. It is the final form of Solosis.
Biology
Physiology
Reuniclus's pale-colored inner body is encapsulated within a blob of a translucent, green gel-like substance. Inside the substance, its large, rounded head, with a striation down the length of it, is visible, as well as its torso and stubby feet. There are tapered, pale partitions of the inner part of its body, not connected to the other parts of the inner body and seemingly "floating" in the gel simulacrum; the way it forms around the portions give the impression of Reuniclus possessing horns or ears. There are several protrusions of the body off the main blob of the substance, forming arm-like appendages sporting three "fingers" at the tips and a curving feature of the gel below Reuniclus's waist. Within the arm-like extensions are several rounded portions, of which, like Reuniclus's "ears", seem to be "floating", with the farthermost shapes, colored yellow and then red, being most spherical.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Reuniclus are highly intelligent. They will sometimes join hands with each other, which links their brains and amplifies their psychic power. Their arms' grip is powerful enough to smash rocks.

Trivia
Origin
Reuniclus resembles a homunculus and, due to its gelatinous structure, bear-like face and abilities, may also be based on the Tardigrade. It and the rest of its evolutionary line also seem to bear reference to cells, with the green substance surrounding their bodies resembling cytoplasm and the objects inside their bodies representing organelles. It may also make allusion to the embryonary stages, specifically when the embryo is fully developed to become into a fetus, while the green jelly may represent the amniotic fluid. The way its organelles are lined up in Reuniclus' arms resemble the generic meter for volume control, most likely referencing the ability to amplify its powers. It may also be based partially on an amoeba, with its arms resembling pseudopods.
Name origin
Reuniclus seems to be a combination of reunite, homunculus and possibly nucleus or cluster. It may also derive from unipolar neuron. Lanculus could be a combination of 乱 ran, disorder, or 卵 ran, spawn, and homunculus.
