Ominous Wind (Japanese: あやしいかぜ Suspicious Wind) is a damage-dealing Ghost-type move introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

Ominous Wind inflicts damage and has a 10% chance of raising all of the user's stats* excluding accuracy and evasion by one stage.

Description

Games Description The user creates a gust of repulsive wind. It may also raise all the user’s stats at once. The user blasts the target with a gust of repulsive wind. It may also raise all the user's stats at once. PMDTDS Inflicts damage on all enemies in the room. It may also boost the user's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, Special Defense, and Movement Speed by 1 level.

• Like the moves Heat Wave and Twister, many Flying-type Pokémon can learn Ominous Wind through the Platinum Move Tutor, despite its off-typing; this is due to the move's use of wind, which Flying-type Pokémon utilize.
