| Lokix appears to be based on a {{wp|grasshopper}}, particularly those of the {{wp|locust}} variety, which are notably larger than other grasshopper varieties and have a swarming phase. It also seems to be based on the Japanese {{wp|tokusatsu}} superhero franchise ''{{wp|Kamen Rider}}''. The first Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider #1, famously had a grasshopper motif, and he, as well as all subsequent primary Riders, finished off enemies with the signature Rider Kick attack, which appears to be parallel to Lokix's kicking abilities. Lokix's black coloration particularly brings to mind the protagonists of ''{{wp|Kamen Rider Black}}'' and/or ''{{wp|Kamen Rider Black RX}}'', who both wore black suits and also had grasshopper motifs. The shiny coloration, being a neon yellow with red eyes, brings to mind ''{{wp|Kamen Rider Zero-One}}'', who also had a grasshopper motif. | | Lokix appears to be based on a {{wp|grasshopper}}, particularly those of the {{wp|locust}} variety, which are notably larger than other grasshopper varieties and have a swarming phase. |

It uses its normally folded third set of legs when in Showdown Mode. This places a huge burden on its body, so it can't stay in this mode for long.
